Prologue: "The Revenant"
Blood, guts, and dead bodies scattered all across the floor, and splattered all over the walls...
This is the horrific scene that made the headlines of Vale news.
Corpses of criminals with dismembered limbs, and filled to the brim with bullet holes and stab wounds are all over the place. As the police were horrified at the scene that they saw before them, a man looked down upon them from the shadows, smiling down on all as the police tried to contemplate the scene they were all witnessing.
'Guess I did quite a great job,' the man thought to himself as he smiled behind his black helmet with a white skull on it.
As he looked down upon his "work of art," as he puts it, the man then chuckled to himself out of pride.
'Those scum didn't even know what hit 'em. Oh, well, at least I just did this city a favor. That's one less gang of criminals off the bucket list, I guess,' the man said with a chuckle.
After entertaining himself for a while by watching the police as they struggled to figure out the crime scene, the man then stood up from kneeling down on the rooftop of a nearby building and sighed.
'Well, there goes another kill streak for me! Sayonara, and good night, Vale!' The man said as he faded away into the shadows of the dark knight sky...
