"when she's sleeping in the bed we made, don't you dare forget about the way you betrayed me"

jina woke up and sat slowly on her bed. she looked at her phone, it was 7:45 am. she went to the balcony and took a deep breath in of the early morning air. today is the day they would say goodbye forever to jeongwoo . she get ready with a heavy heart and put a smile on her face . she doesn't want to say goodbye with a sad feelings , she knew jeongwoo wouldn't like that .

they had breakfast silently , only giving a small smile to each other . when they finished their breakfast , jina went out first to catch the elevator while aera locked the door . yedam is already waiting for them downstairs . aera hold jina hand and they walked together into the elevator , hoping jeongwoo funeral will goes well.

"yedamie, can we stop at a flower shop? i want to buy some lilies for jeongwoo . he would loves it for sure ". jina smiles softly at that and yedam nodded , a small smile plaster on his face too. they would be lying if they said they're not sad but they also know it will only hurt jeongwoo more if they showed up crying . jina looks out to the scenery along the ride. the sun is shining brightly but it is still windy , a perfect day at last after it rain for almost everyday the passed week.

when they arrived , all the members and jeongwoo family is there. jina hugged his mom tightly , giving her some strength . the funeral went on smoothly and although there were some tears shedded , they were still smiling as they gave their last goodbye. they all stayed until all guest have gone , each have something to say to jeongwoo . yeji was there as well with jihoon and jina can't bring herself to look at her . 

jina was standing alone in the back . it was yoshi turn to talk so she stood under a tree, seeing that her turn will took a while. she turned to her right when a hand reach out to her. it was yeji. yeji gave her a small smile and she just stare at her . "jina, i'm sorry . i have no excuse at all. i'm sorry for dragging jihoon into this mess with me. i try to stop my father but i couldn't" jina smiles hearing her words. "then give him back."

yeji was shocked at her response. "w-what do you mean?". jina stare at her again, with a blank expression on her face. "see, you can't give him back right? so even if you apologise to me, it won't change anything yeji. i just hope you guys will be happy forever" and she smiles to yeji after that, sincerely.

yeji was stunned hearing that. she was about to apologise once again when jina hugged her, patting her back. jihoon watched them from afar, he's not shocked by the scene since jina is naturally like that. super kind and so sweet. he smiles to himself, maybe that was the reason their relationship lasted for years and then he's the reason their relationship ended,because he betrayed her.

"jina, it's your turn" jaehyuk gave her a sweet smile while saying that. she walks to the grave but then she stop in front of the members. she smiles and offer her hand to asahi. asahi raised his eyebrows, feeling confused. "let's talk to jeongwoo together."

asahi only nodded and took her hand. they stand in front of jeongwoo's grave. "jeongwoo , it's your favourite noona hahaha. woo, i'm still mad at you for leaving us suddenly but i hope you're happy now woo. noona miss you so much but i know i can live just fine, even though it's going to be hard. visit me in my dreams sometimes okay. i adore you so much woo. here your asahi hyung, you make him promise to treat me well right? so if he treat me badly you should haunt him for me. promise me okay ". asahi chuckled at jina's word, scratching his neck. he could feel blush creeping on his cheek.

jihoon feels his heart broke seeing the scene but all he can do is smile. seeing jina happy makes him happy as well.

he does admit he feels stupid not fighting for jina but it's too late now. he let her go sincerely, so that she can be happy, with someone better than him.

when they all done giving their small talks to jeongwoo and was walking to the parking lot , rain started pouring down. instead of running for shelter like everyone else , jina found herself stunned in the rain, jihoon as well. it have been a habit of theirs, to play in the rain.

it might sound weird for others but it's a special thing they do together. the members let them be, yeji as well. they knew jihoon and jina still have an unresolved matter with each other and it's not a crime to play in the rain right?

jihoon offered both of his hand to jina and she took it. jihoon swing them around and they both laugh, feelings happier than ever. they both fall down to the ground, feeling dizzy by all that spinning. jina stop laughing and stare into jihoon's eyes. jihoon gave her his eye smile and she smiles back. she really wished time can be pause, so she can live in this moment forever but of course it will never happen.

jina stuck out her pinky fingers to jihoon "hoonie, let's be happy together in another life, okay" jihoon stamped the promised, eyes filled with tears and he knew jina is crying as well, the rain isn't enough to cover her tears.

he nodded and wiped away jina's tear , maybe it's the last time he could do that. he smiles again and pat her hair, letting the pouring rain fall on them, not caring about anyone but only themselves.

jina took jihoon hands and bring it close to her face, putting his hand on it. she missed all of this, but jihoon isn't hers anymore and she's not his anymore too. she stood up, asking jihoon to stood up as well. she hugged him for the last time, although the hug only lasted for a few minutes, it's feel like hours to both of them. she pulled away with a smile and started to walk to the parking lot. jihoon get the hint and started to walk to his car, on the opposite way.

and that day, jina and jihoon accepted their fate. they can't be together no matter how hard they try. some people might find this foolish but both wanted each other to be happy.

jihoon let her go because he wants to protect her and jina let him go because of love, she wanted jihoon to be happy and she knew jihoon would always prioritised his family more.

on this day, their story really ended, they both have to live their life, without the others, even though it pained them deeply but that's how cruel fate is.

jina walks to yedam's car with a smile and jihoon walk to his, smiling too. deep inside, both wanted to run to each other, to hug each other once again but it would be a bad idea. "see you in another life loser" jina's thought to herself.
