#7- Moving In

*Not mine! All credits go to Rick Troll Riordan. This is my first Wattpad story so please leave comments and it would mean a lot if you voted! In this short story, Percy and Annabeth moved in together at the Jackson/ Blofis apartment and are going to high school with some of their friends!

Annabeth's POV

I'm so excited. I'm moving in with Percy tomorrow. I can't wait!

Percy's POV

Annabeth is moving in tomorrow!! I can't wait. My mom and I set up a cute bedroom with silver accents. I hope she likes it. After she unpacks her stuff, I planned a romantic date for us. We will go to a cafe and then go on a stroll through the park. After that, I decided to give her a ring. Not an engagement ring (yet) but a promise ring. I'll promise to stay with you forever and be yours. After that, we'll head home. I hope nothing goes wrong but giving my luck who knows.

(Still Percy's POV)

It went wrong.

Very wrong.

Annabeth came in at about 8:30 in the morning.

"Wow, Percy! Did you set all this up for me?"

I smiled. "Anything for you wise girl."

Next, we went to the cafe. It wasn't very crowded and the service was quick. The waiter was most likely in high school, and he was pretty cute I guess. He had blonde hair and emerald green eyes.

"Hey, cutie. Whatcha want?"

Annabeth looked disturbed. "I'll take a muffin and a coffee please"

He said, "What does your brother want?"

"Her boyfriend would like the same, please."

He smirked at me as if to say, sure bud. Whatever you say.

We headed to the park after we got our food. Several ducks were swimming in the pond and a few people were around. I spread out the blanket and we sat. I went to a food machine (where you pay a quarter and get some duck food.) Not a second later, Annabeth screamed.

"Annabeth? Are you ok?"

She was pointing to the blanket and screamed, "spi-i-id-der!!

I saw it and went and stepped on it. I squished my sneaker hard on it, just in case. I ran back to her. She looked awful. I took her back to the apartment and laid her in her bed. She was so peaceful when she was sleeping.

I tossed the ring onto my bed and went to take a shower. There was no way I could give it to her when she just had a major freak out. I stepped out of the shower and saw Annabeth going through my drawers.

"Umm. What are you doing?"

She jumped then saw me. "I was looking for a hoodie. I'm really cold. I may have a fever."

I sighed, then scooped her up in my arms.

"Percy! What are you doing?"

I walked into her bedroom and laid her down. I ran into my mom's room and looked for a thermometer. When I was looking, I saw another box. It didn't look familiar so I picked it up. I shrieked and dropped it.

Annabeth ran into the room so quickly it seemed impossible.

"What? What's wrong? Oh gods, Percy you look like you've seen a ghost."

In response, I held up the box. The empty pregnancy test box.

~~~Time skip to when Sally gets home~~~

Sally's POV

When I got home Percy was sitting in the chair. He had his arms folded and was frowning.

"Percy? Is everything ok?" I looked at Annabeth. "She's not pregnant is she?"

Annabeth blushed. "No! Of course not."

Percy looked at me, "Speaking of that, I found an empty pregnancy box. Do you have any idea how that got there?"

I blushed. "Well, I and Paul have been married for a while now, and it turns out... I'm expecting."

Annabeth started squealing and jumping up and down, tugging on Percy's arm.

Percy was confused. "Expecting? Expecting what?"

Annabeth giggled. "What do you think? She's not gonna give birth to a dog."

Percy looked at me. I nodded my head, smiling. He jumped up "I can't believe it!! I'm gonna be a big brother!"

Annabeth seemed happy. She looked like part of the family. Hopefully, she would be one day.

I hugged her and noticed something on her hand. A RING!?! I looked at Percy.

"Percy? Is there something you need to tell me?"

Annabeth's POV

"Percy?" Sally said. "Is there something you need to tell me?"

I froze. Oh no. The ring! I noticed it on Percy's bed and I completely forgot to mention it. I figured he was going to give it to me on our date. He probably got nervous. I mean, of course, I would say yes. The love of my life was going to propose, but I ruined it.

I glanced at Sally and nervously swallowed. "I found this in Percy's room and figured it was for me. I'm sorry I didn't say anything."

Percy walked up to me and slid it off my finger. He got down on one knee...

"Annabeth Chase, I have loved you from the day I met you. Ever since the moment you kissed me, I knew you were the one. When I bought this ring I wasn't planning on proposing, but now I realize that you are the one. Why wait?"

He slid the ring onto my finger and looked up at me. "Will you make me the happiest person on the planet and marry me?"

"YES! YES! OH, MY GODS YES PERCY!!"

He jumped up and we kissed. At that moment, an asteroid could have wiped out the planet for all I cared. I was getting married!

Sally chuckled. "Alright you lovebirds, just use protection."

I looked at Percy, blushing. I can't wait for our future. Together.
