Her Last Letter.2✒

S.S POV

"SEVERUS! SEVERUS, WAKE UP!"

He heard banging on his doors. The voice sounded familiar. The motherly voice of Mcgonagall banged more on his door as he scrambled trying to hide (F/N). He had been cheating behind your back for the past few months now. He felt disgusted, yet good. He blamed you for his cause of cheating as you were afraid to have sex because of past trauma.

Annoyingly, he opened the door with a grouchy look in his face, wondering what in the world could the old lady want from him.

"What?"

He questioned, immediately noticing the sadness on Mcgonagall's eyes. It seems like she had been crying recently and he had no idea why. Her eyes were puffy and red as her poor body shook.

"I-it's (Y/N)"

She trailed. Severus's eyes grew wide, more in shock than fear. All of a sudden, a race of thoughts flew through his mind. He wondered if you found out about him and (F/N).

"What about her?"

Mcgonagall's face went pale. The colors drained from her eyes. This did not go unnoticed by Snape as he knew that Mcgonagall had always treated you like her daughter, knowing you never had a mother figure during your childhood.

"She... She's dead"

"What?!"

He shouted in shock. He was sure that Australia heard him. His eyes grew even wider, his face went even paler than before, his body trembled uncontrollably. Tears slowly formed in his eyes.

"No... no tell me it's not true"

Sure he may have cheated on you, but he loved you. You just couldn't give the pleasure that he wanted. Still, that wasn't a reasonable reason for him to do that. Because, if he truly loved you, he would've waited for you, no matter how long it will take.

"WHERE IS SHE?! WHERE IS SHE MINERVA!"

He yelled loudly at Mcgonagall's face. A stream of tears fell from his eyes. He was in shock.

"Come with"

Muttered Minerva. She led Severus to the Hospital Wing, where your body laid.

He slowly approaches your body, a small smile was on your face.

"I think this is for you"

Mcgonagall said handing Severus a folded letter with trembling hands. Mcgonagall nodded and left Severus alone with your body.

He hugged your body tightly as tears streamed down from his face. He was in disbelief and denial to the fact that your gone, dead. Forever.

He read the letter, immediately regretting his past sins. His heart shattered, how could he be happy without you? He blamed himself for your cause of death. Even when heartbroken, your positive energy still radiated. As instead if cursing at your friend, you wished her luck and him happiness.

He knew he doesn't deserve happiness, not even a single bit of it. He felt evil. He felt disgusted of himself. He remembers your last wish. It was for him to be happy without her. He knew that could never happen as you were his source of happiness, but he never showed it to you.

You were incredibly sweet to him during your relationship. You were kind, understanding and humble whilst he was cold ( but sometimes soft ). He would always cry about his problems in your arms while you comfort him, not even bothering to ask about your day. You were always there to comfort him, but he was rarely there for you.

At least you were at rest now.

Your funeral was held a few days later. Severus hadn't talked to anyone for a long time, distancing himself from the world and him. All he could think about is you and how you could've felt when you found out.

These days, you could find him lying on his couch watching your favorite TV shows endlessly.

Nonetheless, he was unhappy, despite your last wishes. But he remembers you. He forever will.
