(Y/N) joined the military after graduating from Hogwarts to improve her career. She dreamt of working on both Muggle and Wizarding world and so she needed to enter the military to enter college.
Snape, (Y/N)'s ex-professor had been in love with (Y/N) for a while now and he had confessed just before she flew to USA
✧ "Miss (L/N)" Snape said. He visited her parents as they used to be his prefects back when he was in his 1st year at Hogwarts and were good friends with each other as well. They were at the airport as they were going to bid goodbye to their daughter.
"I want to tell you something" he continued
"Ok... just so you know I wasn't the one who stole the polyjuice potion" she blurted out as he had been suspecting her on the case a few weeks back.
"No No, it's not about that"
"Oh thank god"
"I just wanted to tell you that"
There was a long pause. Snape's face was in a crimson red color and his palms sweaty with nervousness.
"That I love you. Ever since the start of you're last year my heart longed for you. I know it may be unrequited but I just wanted to let it out" He said shyly. His brown eyes showed nothing but love and adoration when they had eye contact.
Suddenly it clicked. All those random calls in the hallways, the random detentions that he gave her and the way that she would catch him staring at her had finally got an answer
"Flight 290 to America please get on board" the speakers suddenly announced.
Just as Snape was at the verge of tearing up,(Y/N) quickly pecked his lips and hugged him and ran to the gate. ✧
Snape stood with (Y/N)'s parents patiently at the exit of the gate waiting for (Y/N) to appear. Her parents had known of Snape's feelings as they have seen the way he stared at her with love in his eyes.
"She'll come, Severus. Stay calm my future son in law" Her father said making her mom chuckle and Snape blush.
Just then, (Y/N)'s mom announced "Oh my god, here comes our little princess"
(Y/N) walked out dressed in a military uniform carrying her luggages with a huge smile on her face.
Snape stood there admiring at how perfect she looks in uniform and he couldn't stop falling for her more and more by the second. As her hearty laugh filled his ears he got out of his trance and ran to her, hugging her tightly and spinning her around.
"I love you, I love you, I love you" he exclaimed as he spun her around
(Y/N) hugged him tight as well and whispered the words, "I love you too, Severus Snape" in his ears thus the reason why he spun her around in pure excitement and happiness.
He put her down gently and rested his forehead onto hears as they both shut their eyes. "I love you too, Severus Snape. Ever since I first saw you in my fifth year across the room" She mumbled.
Severus opened his eyes slowly only to be met with those pretty (e/c) of yours. A sudden wave of confidence swept through him and his lips landed on yours. You two shared a very sweet and passionate kiss, you're parents watching you two in adoration.
"Our little princess is now growing up" Her dad cried, tears forming in his eyes
"Soon she is going to be the queen of her own house and family" Her mom agreed with tears forming in her eyes as well.
