It was another night of full moon, a night (Y/N) wholeheartedly hated. I guess one could call it 'That time of the month'. (Y/N) hated that retched werewolf of a death eater for biting her that night. It gifted her nothing but horrors, horrors that she will never get rid of.

She quietly roamed the halls, specifically the halls of the dungeon. She was waiting for Snape to exit his classroom in order for her to sneak back in and get some wolfsbane from his storage. It was the perfect time as everyone was in the great hall, enjoying dinner.

Carefully, she looked left to right and quickly tipped toe into Snape's classroom. Thinking that no one was around, she searched for that one specific potion. She needed it fast, before the moon fully rises into the night sky.

"gotcha"

She internally celebrates. However, her celebration was short lived when she heard someone clear their throat just behind her. Her figure froze, her eyes grew wide as her breathing immediately came to a halt.

"What do you think you're doing here, Miss (L/N) ?"

That baritone voice, oh that baritone voice. The voice of your forbidden crush, instead of scaring you to death, it sent butterflies fluttering in you. Instead of feeling scared, you felt flustered. It was a feeling you can't get over whenever you see him, either by picture or in real life.

"Professor ! What a coincidence seeing you here"

It was such a stupid thing for her to say, she wanted to die right there. Why can't the earth swallow her, or the giant octopus in the black lake grabs her and turns her into its dinner. Of course that did not happen, and she was stuck with Snape glaring right into her eyes.

"I may ask you the same thing, (L/N), as well why that vial is in your hands"

"Please sir, let it slip this once ?"

"And why should I ?"

He asks, raising his eyebrow.

"You're not a werewolf are you ?"

She stayed silent, unable to answer his question. She feared that if she told him, he would shame her about it for the rest of her days at Hogwarts, or even worse, reveal it to everyone.

Snape let out a sigh, his eyes slowly going soft on her. Gently, he rests his hand on her shoulder, giving her some type of comfort.

"You can tell me, (Y/N). I will help you, not judge you"

It was surprising that he said her first name, considering he has never done that to anyone, besides from his godson, Draco Malfoy. It was also weird for him not to judge her as he always did that to others and on often occasions, her !

"Just tell me if you need some more, I'll happily brew you wolfsbane. Now of you go to the forest"

He says, placing his hand on her back and carefully pushing you out the door. He pats your head before closing the door on you. She could not say anything, stunned from what had just happened. You were about to thank him, but you felt the full moon rising higher into the sky, causing you to run out of the castle before her transformation.
