I woke up early because mom knocked on my door first thing in the morning. I sighed as I realized that it's my debut and I have to get ready because I have to go to the hotel.
After I took a bath and changed into a skirt and an off-shoulder top, my sister already called. Agad ko naman itong sinagot, ang ayaw ni ate sa lahat ay iyong babagal-bagal at laging nagkakamali, dalawang bagay na parehong tumutukoy sa akin.
"Yes, ate?" Sagot ko sa tawag habang muling tinitingnan ang aking bag.
"The driver's there." She said and ended the call.
Kinuha ko na ang mga gamit ko at agad na bumaba. I kissed my mom goodbye and didn't looked back at the home because I know it will only hurt me.
Hindi naman ganoon ka traffic kaya agad akong nakarating sa hotel na pagdarausan ng aking debut. I was just on my phone the entire day, I became busy reposting the greetings from my friends. I was starting to get bored when I recieved a message from Rico.
From Rico Narvaez:
"Happy Birthday! I hope you enjoy your day." I smiled at his message.
To Rico Narvaez:
"I will. I hope to see someone familiar tonight though." I honestly said.
Sana ay hindi ako maburyo buong gabi dahil paniguradong puro matatanda ang bisita ko. I have 18 roses but I don't even know anyone there. Halos lahat ng lalakeng iyon ay first time kong makikilala mamayang gabi. Si kuya at si daddy lang ang kilala ko mula sa listahan at hindi pa makakadalo ang kapatid ko.
When noon came, someone knocked on my door. "Miss Nicole, start na po tayo ng make-up." The make-up artist said and I nodded.
The blue ball gown hugged the mannequin perfectly. Katabi noon ang velvet red na long gown na sususotin ko rin. The high heels on the side made me sigh, I guess my feet will hurt the entire night.
Birthday ko ngayon pero ni wala akong pamilya na pumunta sa kwarto para bumati. Ate went here to check if Im already dressed, she didn't greet me. I didn't expect her to do so anyway.
"10 mins and you'll go down." The organizer said and smiled at me.
They let my hair down and curled its ends. I took pictures of myself and sent them to my friends. Nagsend rin ako ng mga pictures kay mommy.
To Rico Narvaez:
"The party will start in a bit." I updated him.
From Rico Narvaez:
"Really? The set-up looks good." My forehead creased at his reply.
