Adam, Bree, Chase, Leo, and I were in the lab backing up our backpacks for school. Adam decided to catch our attention by holding up a glass beaker "Hey, can I use this? I need a place to store my toenail clippings."
Bree and I make disgusted faces while Leo widens his eyes slowly turning his head towards Adam "You save your toenails?"
Adam shakes his head "Of course. They're nature's toothpicks."
Bree turns to me right as I fake throw up "You don't even want to know what he flosses with."
Adam leans in "You really don't."
Chase quickly runs over "Hey, get away from that!" he grabs the beaker away from Adam "It's not empty! There are thousands of metallic nanobots in there!"
Adam sighs and scrunches up his face "Well, then, why can't I see them?"
Chase raises his hands in a duh manner "Because they're microscopically small."
Adam looks over at Chase "But you're microscopically small and I can still see you."
Chase crosses his arms and glares at me while I laugh "Nanobots are so tiny, they're invisible to the human eye. Here, I'll show you. Put these on."
Chase hands Adam some special glasses, once Adam puts them on he stares in awe "Whoa!"
Chase smiles and starts to explain "They function like mini-doctors inside the human body. When patients swallow them, they'll seek and destroy any diseased cells or foreign matter."
Adam perks up and takes off the glasses "Ooh! I got a tennis ball and a mini Statue of Liberty somewhere in my gut." Adam pats his stomach "It's time to swallow a search party."
Adam grabs the jar and goes to swallow whatever is in it but Chase stops him "Adam, no! Those are valuable!"
I sigh and turn to Leo and Bree "Come on, guys, we don't want to step on broken glass."
Leo raises an eyebrow "What broken glass?"
"Gimme!" Adam and Chase fight over the glass jar before dropping it and it shatters on the floor.
Leo shakes his head "Right." Bree and Leo leave. While I head over and kiss Chase cheek before walking out.
