Exactly one year ago from today, Chase Davenport asked me to be his girlfriend. This has been one crazy year. Who would have thought moving in with Mr. Davenport would lead me to the life I have right now. "Y/n." I never dreamt of finding my prince charming and living happily ever after, instead I dreamt of adventure and independence. "Y/n! Hello?" I guess I did get what I wanted, I've had many life-threatening adventures with Chase, and he respects me when I need to do things on my own. "Y/N!!"
I snap out of thought and look over noticing Chase looking at me while we were cuddled up watching a movie. "Sorry, what did you say?"
He shakes his head and kisses my forehead while twirling my (h/l) (h/c) hair around his finger "I was saying you need to go get dressed for our date tonight"
Snuggling into him, breathing in his scent before finally replying to him "we could just skip the date and stay just like this"

"Nope, it's our anniversary we are going out and this time you are not allowed to use your powers when you think someone is flirting with me," Chase tells me as he starts to get up from the couch leaving me to sit up and pout.
"That's not fair, you used your bionics to hit a guy in the head when he was flirting with me" my frown deepens only causing Chase's smile to widen "stop smiling like that"
"Mmh nope" He smiles again and leans down and pecks me on the lips making a smile spread across my face while I can feel my cheeks heat up.
