"Beomgyu called me from your phone. I was out with Soobin at the cafe— and I didn't realize my phone was on silent the entire time. The boy here pointed out that my phone kept lighting up in my pocket and I saw the many missed calls from your phone. We immediately sensed something was wrong and left immediately and Beomgyu told us everything that happened and sent us the location."

Yeonjun said as he drove with Soobin sitting beside him in the passenger seat while the other two sat in the backseat.

Taehyun jerked up from his seat, "You were with Soobin?!" He said it like it was the most unimaginable thing in the world.

The said boy gave him a dirty look through the rear view mirror and Taehyun immediately huffed back into his seat.

Leaning his head back against the headrest, Soobin began speaking. "When Yeonjun told us about the whole situation that day, it never left my mind. I kept thinking about it the entire day until it hit me that my friend's father was from the police department. Surely he'd at least help us collect the needed evidence and give us the benefit of the doubt, right? So I called Kai about it and his father didn't hesitate one bit. We had Yeonjun and Kai's father meet up the very next day and he said there was nothing he could do unless we catch him right when he comes after Beomgyu again."

Both boys in the back had their eyes widened in surprise and mouths agape. Beomgyu hand slowly creeped in Taehyun's closing around it tightly. Turning to look at him, he saw a slightest shimmer of a blue hinting on his inner waterline.

As much as he wanted to point it out to Beomgyu, he chose to remain silent and let their hyungs continue speaking.

"These past days, we've been meeting constantly and thought up of ways we could catch loan sharks with proper evidence. It was hard because Beomgyu's ability couldn't produce gems anymore." Taehyun glanced over at the said boy who looked absolutely sullen. "If ever, there were small stones that just looked shiny on the outside sometimes. I had one at home and showed it to Officer Nabil. It had to suffice. And then today, this happened. Thankfully we caught him right before he could do anything fatal to any of you."

Soobin twisted his body around to look at the two boys giving them a reassuring smile, glad that they were finally safe.

The following night, Beomgyu was called in to give his statement along with Taehyun who was a victim of the situation. Soothing circles rubbed on the back of his hand and gentle pats, Beomgyu despite being scared to reveal his secret that he'd been holding in for so long, he did it.

All his fears of not being heard and pushed away took a backseat when Officer Nabil thanked him for his statement and gave him a reassuring nod.

With enough evidence to back them up for violence and unprovoked attack towards Taehyun, the man was arrested for all the years of predator behaviour and dig out information about Beomgyu's father for murder and domestic violence.

It all seemed too good to be true, but it was.

Yeonjun invited them all to his house, including the Officer's son, Hueningkai, who was initially too shy to accept the offer but agreed once Soobin asked him again. The only way to his heart was through Soobin, Taehyun assumed.

They all sat around Yeonjun's coffee table, bottles of soju lined over it with the boys drinking to their heart's content. With 'boys' it actually meant Yeonjun and maybe a little of Soobin too.

"Here is to celebrating our Gyu's win!" He raised his glass and the others followed along with cheers clinking their own glasses together, bright smiles painting their faces in joy for the boy who'd finally taken the first step towards gaining justice.
