Amy's POV
I was quiet the whole day. I never raised my hand in class, not even once participated.
I enjoyed being invisible.
When the bullies came though, I fought back.
I was going to change.
I was no longer going to ever be weak.
My life and experiences have made me strong, and nothing will change that.
Never.
I didn't tell anyone about my family and the accident. I didn't want the extra attention or pity.
So far, Peter was the only one who knew.
Oh Peter.
I have been planning on confessing my feelings to him lately. I feel like if I hold then in any longer in secret, I'm going to explode !
But what if he doesn't like me back?
Would this spoil our friendship? The only friendship I had left? The only person I could confide in?
I definitely hoped not.
When Peter approached me, seconds after the bell rang, signaling the end of the day, asking me whether I wanted to go back to the park with him to "hang out", I knew today was the day.
The day where I was going to tell him.
