It felt like any other day to Albedo. They had dropped Klee off at daycare, said hello to Kaeya and was on his way to work. The old routine he always did.
He got out of his car, walked into the school, walked to his classroom and reached into his bag to get out the papers he had to finish marking before his second class.
Except his bag wasn't there. No bag meant no papers. No bag meant no work for that day that wasn't already on his school computer. No bag meant no phone in case of emergencies.
"How could I be so forgetful. I must have left it at the daycare when I was signing the sign in sheet." He muttered to himself before quickly dashing down to the library.
"Ah hello Mr Kreideprinz. What brings you to the library today?" The lady at the front desk asked.
"Miss Minci may I borrow your phone? It appears I left my bag at my daughter's daycare and it has my work belongings in it aswell as my phone."
"Of course. And no need to be so formal. Even the students call me Lisa."
Albedo took the phone and quickly dialled Kaeya's number.
"Ah hello?" A confused voice came from the other side.
"Kaeya it's me Albedo. Did I leave my bag in there when I signed in Klee?" He asked.
"Hold on just a minute." Kaeya answered back.
Everything went silent for a few seconds before the reply came.
"Yes you did, do you have time to pick it up?"
"No I don't, my first lesson starts in fifteen minutes."
"How about I bring it to you then. I need to wait for Barbara to arrive but I can have it to you by at least your second lesson if not sooner."
"Really? Thank you so much Kaeya."
"Of course. Anything for you Albedo. I'll see you shortly."
Kaeya hung up and Albedo returned the phone to Lisa.
"Thank you so much Lisa." They thanked before heading back to his classroom. Luckily his first lesson was just a simple introduction to the new apparatus so it wouldn't be too hard.
Wrong.
You see Albedo's first class had a student named Bennett in it. He was a lovely pupil in terms of personality but when it came to luck in a chemistry classroom.
Boom!
An explosion could be heard as the experiment in front of Bennett and his friend went sideways and ended up setting fire to Bennett's jumper sleeve.
Albedo quickly stepped into action and extinguished the fire before it caused any major harm.
"Bennett are you ok?" He asked.
"Oh yeah I'm fine Mr Kreideprinz. I'm used to stuff like this happening."
"How about you sit this lesson out? I really don't want you to be hurt." They offered.
"Yeah that's fine."
So Bennett went and sat down. Before Albedo walked away however, a quiet slightly raspy voice spoke.
"I keep him company?" A boy with grey hair and red eyed asked.
"Oh of course you can. I'm sure he'd love that."
When the lesson was over Albedo sat at his desk, beginning to plan out his next lesson just in case his bag didn't arrive when he heard some students talking.
"You guys go ahead. I want to ask something. I find you after."
"Oh ok Razor. We'll be at the usual spot."
Albedo was a little stunned. Razor was never the most talkative student. In fact he'd been told by his mother, Miss Minci, that he struggled with talking. He always had and ended up developing the skill later on in life than most children do. He just struggled to get the words in his mind out into audible words. It's why he would usually email teachers or get one of his friends to talk to them for him.
So hearing Razor wanted to ask him something was a little surprising to say the least.
"Mr Kreideprinz. I have question." Razor said.
"Oh of course Razor. What's the matter?" Albedo asked.
"Well Razor, I, know that you are either born a girl or a boy. But what if you not a boy or a girl? What if I am just Razor? Is Razor strange?" Razor asked.
Albedo was yet again stunned.
"So you don't feel like a boy or a girl?" They asked.
"Yes. Razor is just Razor."
"No that is not strange at all. In fact that I know people who feel exactly the same as you. Male and Female are simply the gender binary which is a system that doesn't incorporate all gender identities. In fact I have a few terms you could look up that might be useful. Would you like me to write them down?"
Razor nodded.
Albedo took a piece of scrap paper and wrote down the terms before handing them to Razor.
"If you ever want to talk my door is always open."
"Thanks teacher." Razor said and walked off.
Almost immediately after Kaeya entered.
"So this is your classroom. I must say this is almost how I imagined it." He aid.
"Kaeya! You're here!" Albedo exclaimed.
"Yeah and I bought your bag too."
"Thank you so much Kaeya. I hope it wasn't too much trouble."
"Of course not. As I said on the phone, anything for you Albedo." Kaeya smiled.
Albedo hugged the taller man and pressed a kiss on his cheek.
"Thank you again."
"Of course. I best be off now. I'll see you this afternoon." Kaeya said before leaving.
Kaeya left and it wasn't until he had reached his motorbike and Albedo had started grading papers that it hit them.
Albedo had kissed Kaeya.

Sorry about the lack of updates I really couldn't make up my mind about what this chapter should be. I've planned a lot of the future chapters and not really many of the near future so I had to think a little. Updates should become more regular from now though.
