"Diluc?"
The two stared at each other for a few moments.
"What are you even doing here? With Albedo no less." Kaeya asked.
"Oh um I'm Venti's other romantic partner. Xiao wasn't able to come pick him up so I did. Apparently the blonde was supposed to get a cab but he's obviously had a bit to drink so I thought I'd just take him home." Diluc explained.
They looked around until Diluc spoke again.
"So uh I didn't think you lived around here. Did you move in with your boyfriend or something?"
"Albedo isn't my boyfriend I'm just babysitting his daughter whilst he was out." Kaeya responded, a slight hint of sadness on the first part.
Diluc looked at him before giving an "oh."
"Yeah." Kaeya said with a slight chuckle.
Another awkward silence echoed through the street.
"Well I better go, my partner's piss drunk in the passenger seat." Diluc said.
"Bye." Kaeya said and watched his brother walk away.
He closed the door and sighed, not knowing whether to feel upset, happy or annoyed.
