Chapter 6: Quest

Devil Continent, Demon King Palace

  On the walls of the throne room were seven stones that glowed red.

  The stones represent the lives of his seven subordinates.

  Now there are only 6 stones left because the other stone has been destroyed.

  It indicated that the life of one of his subordinates had been lost or died.

  Argos:"Looks like Orion has been defeated."

  The six devils trembled when they heard their Master speak.

  They knew that if one of them made a mistake, all the Demon Generals would be severely punished.

  However, Mardona did something stupid which made the Demon King angry.

  Mardona:"Forgive us the lowly sir."

  Argos:"Who allowed you to speak?!"

  After Mardona's foolish actions, she was instantly killed by Argos using black magic.

  Instantly Mardona turned to ashes.

  Evening in the city of Hanberg

  Guildmaster Room.

  There were 3 people sitting there discussing the explosion of the pillars and the black ball that appeared in the Bers forest.

  Guildmaster:"We have to report this to the central guild in the capital.

  Miranda, hurry up and make a report and send it to the central guild immediately."

  Miranda:"okay Mr. Harrol."

  Harrol:"and as for Weiss, you check out the explosion tomorrow. Bring some A-class adventurers"

  Weiss: "Fine."

  After receiving the task from harrol, Weiss immediately walked towards Miranda.

  Weiss:"Miranda, give me a list of A-class adventurers in this town!"

  Miranda immediately took the list of adventurers and a paper containing the Quest.

  Miranda:"Here is the list of adventures, and I also suggest bringing Sil's party."

  Weiss: "Why?"

  Miranda:"This party might know something because they took the dungeon exploring quest in Bers forest."

  After being told by Miranda, Weiss was a little surprised because, how did they survive the explosion?

  Weiss:"okay I'll bring them tomorrow."

  At the city gates of Hanberg

  While near the city gate of Hanberg, Rimuru landed in a deserted place, then walked towards the large gate.

  The city of Hanberg has an 8 meter high wall made of concrete.

  It's also pretty tight.

  At the city entrance gate, there was a queue waiting to be allowed to enter the city.

  The queue consisted of carriages, Humans, Beastfolk and Dwarves who wanted to enter the city.

  It seems that if you want to enter the city you must have an ID made in the Guild.

  After a long and mentally exhausting day, I'd better sell my loot from the dungeon and use the money to book a room.
