Chapter 8: Quest Completion

In the forest of Bers

Rimuru POV

Phew....what a journey full of obstacles and trials.

After waiting for more than 2 hours, I finally arrived at the forest.

What a nostalgic place.

I turned on the {Universal Detect} skill when I reached the middle of the forest.

Rimuru:"Ciel, please search for medicinal plants and nearby Goblins"

After that, I felt the presence of 4 humans.  They were all humans who had managed to reach the Grand Human level.

I also felt the presence of the monsters surrounding them.

The number of monsters was 23. The monsters were as strong as Hellwolf.

That monster was a High Orc.

Now they are far away from me.  Exactly where I destroyed the dungeon.

Looks like that human came to check on the explosion I made yesterday.

After that, I cut off the orc's head.

I took out a Full Potion from my pocket (actually from {Imaginary Space}) and gave it to this adventurer.

Rimuru:"Take it! It's a healing potion."

??:"W-what are you doing here Devil?!"

The first person to speak was the woman with long red hair who saved me from the adventurer who forced me last night.

I'm a little annoyed that he still calls me a Devil.

Rimuru:"hey, it's rude to shout like that. And don't call me a devil!"

After receiving my gift, the blond ikemen(handsome person) spoke.
