Chapter 7: Rescue

Rimuru POV

This is my first day running a quest as an adventurer.

The quest I took was to take medicinal herbs and exterminate the Goblins.

But why did it turn out like this?!!!

It happened when I was half way there....

Back to 1 hour earlier

After taking the quest, I went to the horse carriage stop.

Even if I can get there just by teleporting, I won't do it.

Why??  If I did that it would only spoil the fun of adventure.

And it's possible that teleportation magic is a rare magic and I don't want to attract attention.

The carriage looked huge and and was blocked by the tent.

The tent serves to protect passengers from rain and hot sun.

I approached one of the coachmen and called him.

Rimuru: "Ouch.."

Coachman: "Hmm?? What's wrong?"

Rimuru:"Is this train going through Bers forest or not?"

Coachman:"yes, we will pass it to go to the town of Liese."

Rimuru:"When will this train depart? Is it still a long time?"

Driver: "Just a minute, about 10 more minutes, would you like to reserve a seat? It costs 2 silver."

Rimuru:"yes please."

I gave away 2 Silvers from selling the Firewolf Crystal and Hellwolf Crystal I got from the dungeon.

The number of Crystal Firewolf I got was 46 and 1 Crystal Hellwolf.

One Crystal Firewolf costs 1 Big Copper.  I got 23 Silver plus the proceeds from selling the Crystal Hellwolf which cost 1 Silver.

Oh and also the amount of currency here isn't much different from my previous world.

From the most expensive to the cheapest like this:
- 1 Platinum = 10 White Gold
- 1 White Gold = 10 Gold
- 1 Gold = 10 Silver
- 1 Silver = 10 Copper / 2 Large Copper
- 1 Big Copper = 1 Copper

Something like that.

Now in my pocket there are 24 silver or if it is Golded it becomes 2 Gold and 4 Silver.

Since I had enough money, I went to the craft shop to buy a bag that was useful for storing medicinal herbs and proof of subjugation.

Luckily nearby there is a shop that sells bags.

I immediately went there and took the bag I wanted to buy and paid for it at the cashier.

Rimuru:"Excuse me, how much does this bag cost?"

Seller:"the price is 6 silver."

I took out 6 silvers from my 'Stomach' storage.

Hmm??  Why would I buy a bag when I could put all my adventures in my {Imaginary Space}?

I bought it so as not to be suspected of being able to use storage magic.

But I'm still going to put all my catch in {Imaginary Space}.

I can still retrieve it by making a small bag-sized gate that leads to the storage inside the {Imaginary Space}.

If I use storage magic, it's likely that I'll be immediately invited into the party by those adventurers.
