Chapter 18: Kota Sealder

Rimuru POV

The war ended in victory on the human side.

Durandall's defeat on the battlefield was immediately reported everywhere.

Many people were wondering who could beat him.

Just then after I killed Durandall, I felt the Guildmaster's consciousness begin to return.

Since I didn't want to attract the attention of many influential people, I used the Ultimate skill {Void God Azathoth} to stop time and went to the battlefield elsewhere.

Since there were Ryuuto, Cordelia and their friends, the Guildmaster thought they were the ones who had managed to kill Durandall.

Just then, Ryuuto and the others woke up.

The Guildmaster immediately asked them if Durandall was dead.

At that time, Ryuuto said that it wasn't them who killed Durandall, but me who killed him.

Cordelia, Cornelia and Ralph also supported Ryuuto's opinion because they had seen me kill Orion before their eyes.

I thought I'd go in there and pretend I didn't know what was going on.

After Ryuuto said that, I rushed over there in a hurry.

Ryuuto:"Rimuru, you killed Durandall right?"

I better pretend and say that I saw a rainbow light come out of his body and hit Durandall to death.

Rimuru:"what do you mean? I just came here"

Ryuuto:"weren't you the one who killed Durandall?"

Rimuru:"I didn't kill him, I came here because I saw a huge rainbow light rising towards the sky, I thought you guys would have a hard time dealing with Durandall, so I came here to help too.

But, I didn't think you could beat Durandall."

Ryuuto:"but, I heard your voice when I lost consciousness."

Uhhhh…..damn I was careless, I thought everyone had passed out by then.

Rimuru:"Ciel, please help me out of this situation"

[Fine, let's just say he was hallucinating]

I don't really get it, but I'll do it anyway.

Rimur:"maybe you're hallucinating"

Ryuuto:"Is that so?...maybe it was just my hallucination"

After Ryuuto said that, I felt the atmosphere around Mei turn into a murderous aura.

Mei:"So that's what you were hallucinating, Ryuuto-kun."

Damn he's scary, could he possibly like Ryuuto?

It seems he was angry that Ryuuto was hallucinating about me.

I have to get out of here quickly so there's no misunderstanding.

Rimuru:"I-I'm leaving here, just look for me at the inn if you need anything"

I immediately ran and left the battlefield.

A few minutes later I finally arrived at the city gates.

I didn't fly because it would attract too much attention, besides, using camouflage magic in front of a crowd of adventurers would make them wonder why I suddenly disappeared.

When I ran to go to the inn, the streets in this town were very quiet.

It seems that yesterday's declaration of war made them panic and leave this city as soon as possible and save themselves.
