Rimuru POV

What's with those Heroes?

They arbitrarily came and asked and then left.

I also got a suspicious look from one of those Heroes.

After they were gone they were still looking at me.

I can only answer it with a smile even though it's a bit forced.

Rimuru:"Ciel, why are they staring at me?"

I asked Ciel who was busy choosing accessories.

Ciel:"I feel the use of skills against masters when they stare at you"

Rimuru:"what skill? Is it dangerous?"

Ciel:"the skill they use is only to check the master's status, so it's not dangerous."

Rimuru: "I see.."

Ciel finally chose one of the accessories, namely a silver pendant.

Ciel:"master, I want this pendant!"

Rimuru:"Alright."

I walked over to the merchant who sold the pendant.

Rimuru:"how much does the pendant cost?"

I saw him turn his gaze the other way.

Trader:"the price is 1 gold"

Haaa?!!  Why is silver more expensive than gold?  If it's like this, I'd better make it myself than buy from you.

I realized that this merchant was lying to me as he averted his gaze.

Rimuru:"hey oji-san, you better improve the way you cheat on buyers, don't turn your eyes the other way when you want to cheat"

The merchant once again cast his gaze in another direction.

Merchant:"okay, 7 silver"

This guy really wants to take advantage of me.

He even tried to trick me 2 times.

I could tell because I used the {Mind Read} skill on the merchant.

As I read his mind, he said this.

Trader:"damn...he noticed, I better reduce the price to 7 silver.

Don't worry, this girl doesn't know anything."

This merchant really thought of something rude.

He thinks I'm just a girl?  At least call me boy!  My male self can't take it!

I decided to bid it for 5 silvers, but in a way that was a bit sneaky in my opinion.

There is one last step if you want to buy something but the price is still high.

'Go home while telling the amount of money you want to offer the merchant'

Rimuru:"Haaa...I think I'll find another cheap place, I have 5 silver left.

Let's go Ciel."

The merchant was shocked and immediately turned his gaze towards me.

Ciel understood my intention to offer the lowest price and he followed me.

Trader: "he-hey, damn it..well fine I'll sell it for 5 silver."

Yosh made it.

I walked back to the merchant earlier with Ciel.
