*Hollis' POV*

"Let's go swimming!" I said dragging Oli up to my room.

"Why?" He whined.

"Because I want to go swimming." I said and pushed him out of the room. I went into my drawer and grabbed a batman bikini. It had a black fringe with black bottoms that had little batman symbols. I opened the door and let Oli back in.

"Do you still have the clothes I left here?" I nodded. He walked over to the drawer he has and yanked it open grabbing a swim suit. I walked out of the room standing at the door. He walked out of my room and I grabbed his hand and pulled him down stairs and out to the pool. I pushed him into the pool and laughed.

"Well that was rude." He laughed. I jumped in next to him. "Your cute." He smiled pushing a piece of hair behind my ear.

"Your cute too." I smiled pecking his cheek.

"Hollis! You have practice!" My dad screamed from the back porch.

"Fuck." I mumbled jumping out of the pool.

"When will you be back?" Oli pouted looking up at me.

"Eight, but I have thirty minutes to get ready," I said checking the time, "so we can hang out until then then. My dad will take you home."

"Your dad scares me." He whispered.

"Why?" I laughed.

"He's just very intimidating." He shrugged. He hopped out of the pool and walked up next to me running a towel through his hair. I walked into the house and ran up into my room. I grabbed my soccer bag and looked through it. I grabbed my shin guards and threw them on the floor. I stood up and walked over to my dresser and pulled out a pair of shorts, a tee shirt, and a pair of socks. Oli came walking into my room and sat on a bed and pulled his shirt over his head. I walked into my bathroom with my clothes in my hands and quickly changed. I put my hair in a pony tail and put a headband on. I walked back out there to see Oli in the same position. I walked out of my room Oli following close behind. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed something to eat.

"Hollis! Your contacts came!" My mom said as she walked into the kitchen.

"Thank god." I mumbled with a mouth full of food.

"Tonight when you get home, you have to wear them for two hours, tomorrow four, than Monday six, and Tuesday you can wear them all day." My mom said.

"Whatever." I mumbled looking at the time. I had five more minutes. I ran up the steps and grabbed my shin guards and bag from outside my door. I out on my shin guards then my socks. I made sure my cleats were in my bag and slide on my sandals.

"Ready to go?" Dad asked as I grabbed my water. I nodded. "We'll take you home Oliver."

"Okay, good luck. Bye Oli!" Mom said as she waved. Landon came running into the living room. His blonde hair flipping around in his head. We all got into the car and I sat in the back with Oli. Dad turned on the radio and Oli sat there talking his foot.

"So Oliver, how's life?" Dad asked.

"Dad shut up." I said through clenched teeth.

"Um, good Lu- I mean Mr. Hemmings. What about you? " Oli said nervously.

"That's nice to hear. It could be better." Dad shrugged.

"Okay." He said.

"I turn here, right Oliver?" Dad asked.

"Yes, but you can call me Oli." He said.

"No, I feel I should call you Oliver." Dad said. He pulled into Oli's drive way and he got out.

"Bye Oli, I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled waving out the window.

"Bye Holli." He smiled waving back. I climbed into the front seat.

"What the hell was that?" I asked annoyed.

"Please don't use that language with me."He said.

"Oh, but you can use it all the time?" I asked now frustrated.

"Because I'm thirty, you're thirteen. That's why." He said never taking his eyes off the road.

"Mom doesn't care when I talk like that, or when I have Oli over." I shrugged.

"Well I'm not your mother." He said squeezing the steering wheel.

"Well I wish you were more like her, not caring the I have a boyfriend, or that I can use swear words, or and don't get me started on that whole makeup thing." I said before he cut me off.

"If I was like your mother this family would get no where. If you're so unhappy with me, leave." He said.

"Fine, I will." I said crossing my arms.

"Than where are you going to stay?" He asked.

"Grandma's" I said crossing my arms.

"We'll have fun. You won't have your phone, computer, or you won't play soccer, you won't have anything. Just the clothes on your back." He said.

"And why won't I have all that stuff." I asked.

"Because, me and you're mother bought your clothes and computer, and pay for your soccer, and everything. So once you leave, it'll go to it's rightful owner." He said parking.

"Whatever." I said swing open the door.

"You have two hours to sort your life out." He said sticking his head out the window. "And maybe, if you're lucky, you mother will pick you up." He added. I rolled my eyes and started kicking a pebble on the walk to the soccer field.
