*Reina's POV*

"Luke you can't do that! She's thirteen!" I said wiping my hands on a towel.

"She was disagreeing with me! I opened my mouth and said something stupid." He shrugged. "I'm grounding her."

"Luke." I sighed.

"No! She pissed me off! She has to get a punishment!" He disagreed.

"Whatever. What I'm going to say isn't going to go through your head, and you'll just do what you want anyway." I shrugged.

"Is six years good?" He asked.

"You weren't even listening were you?" I asked annoyed.

"I'm sorry, what?" He asked.

"Nothing more than two months." I said walking away and leaving him in the kitchen.

"Then two months." Luke said running up the stairs.

"You can't do that!" I heard Hollis scream. Then there was thumping on the steps.

"Mum! Tell dad that he can't ground me for two months!" She screamed pointing to Luke.

"If I tell him something, he won't listen." I shrugged turning off the television.

"But you have a word in this! Don't you?" She asked stomping around.

"You disobeyed me!" Luke said crossing his arms.

"How?" She screamed.

"You wanted to do so many thing I did when I was younger. I ran away with your mum and then I went to jail. I don't need my daughter to go through the same pain that I put your mother through." He started crying. She let out a scream and ran up the stairs.

"You didn't have to tell her. Keeping our past a secret was the best idea. Our thirteen year old daughter didn't need to know about it." I shrugged.

"But she is making the same mistakes we did." He whispered rubbing his eyes.

"But look where we are now. We have Hollis, Alice, Landon, and Ryan. If we never ran away, I wouldn't have gotten pregnant with Hollis, or we wouldn't have amazing stories to tell people. If we haven't done it, this," I said gesturing in between us, "would have never been like it is."

"You know I love you right?" He asked. I nodded. "Good."

"I love you too." I smiled.

"Mum? Can you help me with this?" Landon asked looking up at me with his bright blue eyes. Landon looks almost identical to Luke, and Ryan has my hair and nose, but Luke's bright blue eyes.

"Of course baby." I said walking into the kitchen. Landon was growing quickly, he was up to at least my shoulder.

"I don't understand it!" Landon cried after I tried explaining it to him more than once.

"Don't worry, you dad was horrible at science too." I shrugged. "So, there are three rings around an atom. Each ring can hold a certain amount of electrons. The first on can hold two, the second six, and the third eight. Is it making some sense now?" I asked. He nodded.

"So there is the atom thing. It has proteins and neutrons in the center, and the rings around it have electrons. The first ring can hold two, the second has six, and the third has eight?" Landon said but it came out more as a question.

"Right. Now you understand it!" I laughed.

"Thanks mum!" He laughed.

"Another kid gone right." I laughed hopping off the stool for the island.

"What?" He asked.

"Just, never mind."

I know it's short and I know I haven't updated in like two or three days but I have changed it the updating thing. When chapters get a thousand reads that's when I'll update, plus the new update sucks. Okay that's it.
