"Today's the last day of my grounding, right?" Hollis asked Luke.
"You wish." He laughed.
"But it's been two months!" She cried
"Luke." I warned.
"Fine it's your last day." Luke sighed.
"Thank you daddy!" Hollis said hugging Lukes neck.
"Whatever." He said swatting her away.
"Can I go hang out with Oli later?" She asked.
"Go ahead." I shrugged.
"Thank you!" She laughed running up the stairs.
"Why is she so peppy at six in the morning?" He asked.
"Why should I know?" I asked finishing breakfast. Hollis came skipping into the kitchen wearing mint skinny jeans, a Slytherin sweatshirt, my chemical romance converse, her makeup looking perfect, and her newly dyed blonde hair thrown into a pony tail.
"Ew really, Slytherin? We all know it's Gryffindor all the way." Luke said looking at her.
"I'm sorry it's hufflepuff twenty four seven." I laughed. "Eat your breakfast and I'll take you to school." She nodded sitting on the stool at the island. She ate her breakfast quickly and grabbed her back pack.
"Let's go." She said grabbing her phone off the counter.
"Do I not get a goodbye?" Luke asked.
"Goodbye dad." She sighed kissing his head.
"Bye Holli." Luke laughed. We walked outside and she hopped into the passenger seat. I got in the car and turned it on. She plugged her phone to the car and turned on her music.
"You are exactly like your dad." I laughed turning down the music.
"How?" She asked.
"You can sing amazingly, you're obsessed with music, and you're exactly like your dad." I said.
"But we're different in so many ways."
"But you're alike in more ways than you think." I said turning into the parking lot.
"Bye mum." She said unplugging her phone.
"Remember, you have gymnastics right after school, and soccer at seven." I said she nodded and got out of the car. I drove home and saw Landon and Ryan running around the house.
"Dad, can you make me my lunch!" One of them yelled as I walked into the house. Luke was sitting at the island with his head in his hands.
"Luke!" I screamed.
"What?" He asked.
"Their lunches! Make a sandwich." I said. "It has to be on rye bread, with mayo on one side with yellow cheese, and turkey. On the other side it has to have mustard and lettuce and another piece of turkey. If it's not made like that, Landon won't eat it." I said rushing around. I grabbed the things I needed and quickly made Ryan's lunch. I threw them in bags and threw them into their lunch boxes. "Water." I said. Luke threw a water bottle in each and I grabbed the bag of chips.
When we finished I jumped up on the counter. "We make an amazing team." Luke laughed walking in between my legs.
"We most definitely do." I laughed. He rested his hands on my hips and pulled me closer. I pressed my lips onto his, only to be interrupted moments later.
"We can never have a nice moment." He laughed rubbing my thigh.
"Mum! Hollis is home!" One of the twins yelled.
"I told you not to fucking say anything!" Hollis screamed.
"You said a bad word!" Alice screamed.
"Does it look like I give a fuck?" She screamed stomping up the stairs.
"Get them to school, I'll go talk to Hollis." I said. He nodded and walked into the living room. I walked up the stairs and went to Hollis' room. I knocked on the door and I heard her crying. I opened the door and sat next to her on the bed.
"What's wrong?" I asked rubbing her back.
"Oli broke up with me." She cried
"Do you know why?" I asked as she nodded.
"Because I didn't want to have sex with him." She said.
"Baby, you have to get over him. If he was dating you just for sex, he didn't really love you." I said.
"I know but I loved him." She said.
"Hunny, you don't know what love is yet." I laughed patting her head.
"What does that mean?" She asked.
"When I thought I was in love with your father, everything was fake. I thought my life was over. My mom didn't want me at home, I was living with someone that I met only a few months before, and your dad left me. But when he came back, he admitted that everything wasn't true. He said that wasn't how it was suppose to be. And stupid sixteen year old me, believed him and got back together with him."
"Is this suppose to make me feel better?" She asked rubbing her eyes smearing her makeup even more.
"I don't really know. But listen, if he truly loves you he will come back to you." I smiled rubbing her back.
"Thanks mum. I don't know what I would do with out you." She laughed.
"Now, go clean your face." I said.
"Do I have to go back to school?" She asked.
"Not today. But you have to help me clean." I said.
"Okay. I love you."
"I love you too Holli."
