Fred woke up to his alarm, and smiled. It was divorce day, and Fred was really excited. He had never been through a divorce but he was sure it would be fun. Fred put on his best red shorts and walked out to his driveway. He turned on his car and began to drive away.
Fred arrived at court just in time, judge Shrek was about to sit down. Fred sat down, on the other side of the room sat Karen. She was holding their son, Georgie, in her arms. Karen glared at Fred, her lawyer told her to look away. She turned to their son and sighed.
"Order in the court" judge Shrek called out. "You two need to tell the court why they should get what you want." "Fred should get everything!" Fred's lawyer called out. "Karen deserves more!" Karen's lawyer screamed. "Quiet down!" Judge Shrek said.
For the next few hours, the two lawyers fought over who would get custody of what. Fred had fallen asleep, and was dreaming of working out. "Wake up Fred" judge Shrek called out. "A decision has been made" Fred jolted awake, he looked up at the stands.
"Karen will receive the car, the guest house, the dining room table, and the kitchen sink. That leaves Fred the main house, the couch, the vacation home, and Georgie" judge Shrek announced. "What?! Can't I keep the car?!? I will let you take me out!" Fred called out to judge Shrek. "I have a wife, case dismissed." Judge Shrek slammed his hammer on the table and left.
