Welcome Back to the Glade

I had a feeling of familiarity while in the claustrophobic box, like I had been in it before. It was terrifying, this box it seemed to have some sort of supplies, they were made by WICKD, they were about as familiar as the elevator. The elevator stopped very forcefully, the sun shone through the small holes although the sun was slightly blocked by the shadows of nearly 30 boys. A skinny yet slightly muscular boy opened the doors, his dark brown eyes seemed familiar like I had known him before.
"What's your name Greenie?"
"I- I don't know"
"Eh that's usual, do you know what the necklace is?"
"I still don't know but if you need to investigate it or something just take it." So the blonde haired boy took the necklace from my neck and then gave me his hand to help me up.
"I'm newt."
"As I said no idea what my name is."
"Yeah well I'll show you around." Newt introduced me to all the gladers along with all the places and jobs inside the glade.
"Now that, that's the maze, the most dangerous place well in this place but we are afraid it's are only way out so every day we have runners and they run the maze mapping it trying to find a way out and before you ask they've been looking for a long time. Well I'm going to have a look at this necklace thing but you go eat and try and make some friends, bye mate."

~NEWTS POV~
"Bye mate." I saw The greenie run off like a little child running to see a friend. So I limped to the small tent I shared with Minho (the head runner).
"Newt, hi."
"Hi Minho, why aren't you at the fire?"
"Got bored."
"Well could I have some time alone please."
"Uh sure maybe there'll be something fun!"
"Thanks Minho, bye." After Minho had left I took a look at the what seemed to be a capsule necklace. The lid was though to take off but after I got it off I pulled out a letter that read.

Dear Newt,
You are the first friend I can remember having, the first person I can remember that didn't seem like they hated me once I came up in that box and as you said if we could do it all again I wouldn't change a thing. If somehow I was given a chance to bring back one of the people that had died back it would be you, it would always be you even if I have to sacrifice my life for you to live on this now peaceful world I would. From what you have told me you have never lived a peaceful life so I would die knowing that you would live a peaceful life just without me. Goodbye my friend... my love.

That was odd to say the least, it even sounded as if he knew me in our lives before the maze even... loved me. I had another look in the necklace to see another letter, I didn't even read it I just went to see who it was from I was confused when I saw... Newt. I ran to find Thomas and saw him staring at the maze,
"HEY GREENIE!" I shouted slamming his muscular figure against the vast wall of the maze.
"What what what?"
"Who are you and why are you here if you already left."
"I-I don't know, I don't know who I am, I don't even know what you mean I escaped I-,"
"DON'T LIE TO ME!" I said slamming him harder against the wall.
"Why do you even think I escaped." He said with blood trailing out of his mouth due to how hard I had hit him with the wall,
"Well according to these letters which where in YOUR necklace we left to a peaceful world where you actually want to do it all again, but I think I... died." Just as I realised that the letter had said I was one of the dead ones I had already shouted it for the whole glade to hear, I could hear all the quite chatter from all the boys in the glade, "died, what who died, is Thomas dead." That last one shocked me, I glanced at Thomas' now completely lifeless body with blood now everywhere, realising what I had done we got the Medjacks over here and they cared for him.
~TIME SKIP TO 3 DAYS LATER~
~THOMAS' POV~
I woke up in an uncomfortable metal bed and I sat up to see newt pacing the room,
"Are you alright?"
"Thomas! Your awake, now what are these letters as I assume you know considering that they were tied to your bloody neck."
"I really don't know newt."
"Well you've got to know something abo-," he was cut of by the noise of the box coming up...
