(Act 1 - Chapter 4) Battle for Superiority

November 17th, 2032 - 0900 Hours - Potiskum, Borno, Nigeria

Rain begins to pour as URF Tanks advance into positions, thousands of troops from the URF 5th Infantry Division run into their places.

Some relaxed on the Tanks, checking their AR-70 Rifles. While others prayed to any god they believed in, hoping to come out the battle alive and well.

Several M1128 Moblie Gun Systems get into positions, followed by the new S5 Artillery Tanks. Which is made from the hull of a S1 Ulster tank, with a 155mm howitzer cannon.

All Artillery vehicles raised their barrels, firing in synchronized patterns. All shells land into the city of Potiskum, creating multiple explosions within the city.

Fredrick stands on top of a S1A1FU Tank, using his binoculars to watch the shells hit the city. He hear someone tap on the Armored Vehicle, lowering his device to look for the source.

He sees a Soldier, based on his armor, regular Infantry. His rank can be seen on his left shoulder, a mark of a Major Captain.

Fred: "What's the situation?" He asks

URF Major Cpt: "The Area Commander wanted me to alert you, all Divisions are ready for attack" he says

Fred: "Anything from the Nigerians?" He asks

URF Major Cpt: "Only that they will hold the left flank of the city, in hopes of keeping Militia soldiers from attacking" he says

Soon another Soldier runs up to them, seemingly in a panic. By the look on him, he's only a rank below the Major Captain.

Fred: "What is it, Sergeant?" He asks

URF Sergeant: "Sorry to bother you, but Militia Soldiers are exiting the city. Right at our line!" He says

Fredrick looks at the city, using his binoculars. He sees a battalion of T-62M and T-55M tanks, all advancing at the URF Forces.

All the Militia Tanks are painted in a dark grey, flying a flag with the words NUF with two swords behind them.

Fred: "So now they have a name?" He asks, he then turns to the Major Captain.

Fred: "Order the Artillery to fire on those Unitary tanks, we're moving in!" He orders

The Major Captain nods in acknowledgement, pressing on the side of his helmet. Soon the Artillery changed targets, firing in rapid random patterns.

As the Artillery open fire, Fredrick taps on his tank. This signals the attack on the city, hatches closes as Gunners load their weapons.

Soon the URF Tanks charge into battle, hundreds of K1A4, S1A1 and S1A2 Tank fire at the incoming Militia Forces.

They soon made a line on the hill, depressing their guns at the lowest height. Each tank fires at the attacking Tanks, destroying them with one shot.

Some of the Militia Tanks return fire, damaging some of URF units that didn't back away.

In the air, a group of Su-24 Strike Fighters speeds towards the battlefield. In their hardpoints, SI-50 Smart bombs lock onto their targets. Once released, several more Militia Tanks are destroyed.

They're followed by AH-1W Gunships as they unleash hell, firing their chin Chainguns at any stragglers.

In the city, Militia Forces use ZSU-23-4 Anti-Air vehicles to engage the Gunships. Perventing them from getting any closer, the Militia began to push back at the URF Forces.
