Viper Omega II: Corporation

(Act 3 - Chapter 6 - Explicit) Affair

November 1, 2034 - Grand Federation, URFS - 2240 Hours

It has been three months since Lucas disappeared, leaving Janet with his first daughter, Kia, and their newborn daughter, Anna.

Seth watch as she's very protective over them, fearing Imari's intentions for them. Night has come as Seth puts Kia and Anna to sleep, before walking back out to the Dining Room.

He sits quietly with his hands on his face, exhausted from his extend stay with Janet. Soon, Janet walks in with two plates of Steak, Potatos, and Broccoli.

Setting the plates down, she begins playing with her food with the fork. Seth begins eating slowly, watching his former Commanding Officer.

Janet: "How's the search?" She asks without looking.

Seth: "There's evidence that Lucas is alive, but not on the Island. Many of URF's experimental assets are missing" He says

Janet turns to Seth with a hopeful look, but he kept a upset expression. Causing her to look down on her food again, Seth place an hand on her free hand.

Seth: "I'll try everything possible to bring him back" he says

Janet: "What if he doesn't want to come back? I mean, something had to happen to cause him to disappear. Then reappear in Africa fighting, that's what I want to know" she says

Seth nods as he stands, but felt a hand grab his wrist. He turns to Janet who stares at the table, she turns to Seth as she also stands.

For a moment, they stare into each others eyes. Seth inches closer, closing the distance between them. Janet stops him and turns away, letting got of his wrist.

The man stands confused as he watch Janet, who retreated to her room. He sighs as he sits back down, his mind filled with nervous feelings for his former Comrade.

Across the world, the large R97 Command Cruiser sails the Indian Ocean. Inside, Lucas and Ranger makes new plans.

Looking onto the holographic map of Kenya, they used one of the Satellites to track the Aerial Battlecarrier. Lucas takes some of the information gathered, switching it onto his tablet.

Lucas: "Have you figure out anything new? Weakness or something?" He asks

Ranger: "Same information as usual, just the missiles being a new. Can shoot down anything that comes near it, could also be equipped with Thermobaric warheads." She says

Lucas looks back onto the screen, sighing as he rubs his hair. His frustration grew slowly, sitting on his Captain chair.

Shaking his head as he looks outside, watching the waves crash into the bow. His mind soon moves to Janet, along with his family.

Feeling the anger towards Imari, he place the tablet down gently. He marches into his quarters, laying on his bed to sleep.

Once again in darkness, Lucas walks around the black room. Soon the darkness disappears, with Monique sitting cross-legged.

Her eyes are closed as Lucas approaches her, sitting in front of his Mother. She opens her eyes, looking towards him.

Monique: "Still angry I see?"

Lucas: "Stress from the recent mission, couldn't think"

Monique sat silently before closing her eyes again, shaking her head as she stands.

Monique: "My child, you're thinking of home again. You're pretty obvious" She says calmly, holding her hand out.

Lucas sighs as he takes it, standing as they walk together. Monique place her hands behind her, looking out as Lucas watch.
