Jem's POV

Will was fast, he long legs pushing him just ahead of Jem. Jem usually would have collasped on the ground in a coughing fit, but after his cure, he could run for miles. Will often glanced over his shoulder to his old parabatai to make sure he was still there. A force of habit from Will, Jem knew. The snarling demon behind them burst through a brick wall, showering the area with a fine red dust. Jem reached down to his thigh sheath, drawing out his seraph blades, Gazardiel and Tatrasiel. They burst into a park on the east side of New York, Central Park to be exact. Will spun around just a milisecond before Jem did the exact same. They were finally facing the demon.

Will's POV

The demon must have been a Greater Demon. The molten blue and black skin stretched over the large muscles, looking like a sick bruise. The demon had thick ebony wings bursting from it's back and black curled horns climbing from it's hideous face. Worst of all, the long barbed tail swung a good 15 feet behind it, a deadly whip. Itching for a fight. Will noticed out of the corner of his eye that Jem had drew his seraph blades. Will unsheathed his own,

"Sarakiel!" The first of Will's blades lit up. "Tzadkiel!" The second burned bright, casting a glow over Will's face. Shifting his feet, Will cracked his knuckles,

"Who are these foul little nephilim?" The Demon drawled out, his voice sounded like a mix between nails on a chalkboard and the Titanic hitting the iceberg; rough, gravelly, and unpleasent, like Louis Armstrong's as Tessa would later show Will.

"None of your business, flith!" Jem spat.

"Flith?" The Demon laughed, "I am not the flithy one with the blood of angels!"

"At least we aren't damned for Hell!" Will countered.

"William Herondale? Hmm, I haven't heard your voice in quite a while. If anyone was damned for Hell it was you, but that pretty little warlock (A/N: sorry for this) slut, Tessa Gr-"

"SHUT UP!" Will yelled, while Jem screamed, "SHE ISN'T A SLUT!"

Yet, the demon kept going "-changed you. I thought I had you wrapped right around my little finger, but the power of love and heart-break were a lot stronger than darkness. I thought you were mine from the moment you freed my minion Marbas. Also that since you left your family ripped in two, maybe I could keep your soul damned. I guess it won't matter after I kill you." The demon shrugged, before whipping his tail at breakneck speeds towards the two.

*Special* Jace's POV

"Ahh... BY THE ANGEL! I leave those two alone for 2 minutes and they take off?!? SERIOUSLY?" Alec cleared his throat,

"Ummm... Jace it was more like 4 hours and we have a problem." Alec pointed to the broken alleyway that lead to Central Park. Jace noticed the broken bricks and claw marks, whispering,

"Oh no...."
