The next day was Monday. I groaned. Ughhhhhh I really really hate Mondays. Its literally such a drag to wake up early in the morning after the weekend, which went by like five seconds ago. YA KNOW HOW I FEEL?
The alarm clock on my bedside table rings. I turn it off. The time was around 6:00 A.M. and classes don't start until 7:30. I decide to shower, brush my teeth, wash my face and get dressed. Then, I'll go over to Chen's Cafe for breakfast!
After finishing up in the bathroom, I got dressed in a blue hoodie, white skinny jeans, a beanie, my nerdy glasses and my Chuck Taylors. By then, I was done by 6:30 and class starts at 7:30 ish.
I left my dorm room and head to the cafe. As I walked in, Chen was laying on the counter. It seems as if he was asleep. "Chen?" I call out.
"BAGOWAFFLE." he shouts in his sleep.
"Uh...." I laugh. Do I wake him up?
I walked on over to Chen and shout in his ear. "CHENNNNNNNNN."
"BWAHHH!" Chen screams and falls down from the counter. "HILLARY?!"
"Yeah. Sorry to wake you up from your sleep." I wince.
He laughs, rubbing his eyes. "Its fine. I always sleep on the job on Mondays, its normal."
"I don't blame you." I nod.
"So what will it be?" Chen smiles, reaching for a notepad and pen.
"Mmm. I'll go with a hot soy milk and fried dough sticks!" I said.
"Gotcha. KRIS! HOT SOY AND DOUGH STICKS!" he shouts.
I paid for my order and waited for my food. Kris comes out with my order and hands me the bag of fried dough sticks and my hot soy milk. "Thank you."
"Welcome Snorkle." Kris grins and heads back to the kitchen.
Snorkle?! "D-did you call me Snorkle?!" I call out at him.
Kris comes back and nods. "Yeah. Because you snore like a pig... Kinda like... snorking."
"Snorking?!" I felt my face burn as Chen bursts out laughing.
"Kris stop being so mean to Hillary!" Chen said, trying to hold in his laugh.
"Well your the one laughing Chen." Kris points out.
"Wahhh I don't snore!" I pout.
"Whatever you say, Snorkle." Kris grins.
My mouth was opened wide. I shook my head and took a sip from my hot soy milk cup and walked out.
Well how rude ._.
