Chapter Nine

I turned startled to see Mr. Jongin smiling at me.

"Hello again Mr. Jongin."

"You don't have to call me Mr. Jongin. Call me Kai, or maybe Oppa?"

"Oppa?"

"Yes?"

"No, I mean," I let out a laugh. "I'll call you Kai."

Kai laughed along too. "Are you heading back to campus?"

I nod. "Yeah."

"Lets walk together?"

"Sure."

Kai and I walked next to each other back to campus. He was holding three dog leashes in one hand, while the puppies walks amongst themselves in front of us.

"You have such cute puppies by the way!" I commented.

"Thanks," Kai nods. "But there is one thing that's even cuter than my puppies that I don't own. Do you know what that thing is?"

I was confused. "What is it?"

"You."

I blushed and slapped his shoulder playfully. "You probably say that to every girl you see."

"No, you're the first that I ever flirted with and had fe-"

Kai stopped mid sentence. I turned and looked at him. "Had?"

"Never mind," Kai let out a laugh.

"Tell meeeee! Please?" I pout.

"Forget it." he shook his head.

"Okay fine." I stuck my tongue out.

"So I've been waiting for you to call me ever since Thursday." Kai mumbled.

"Oh my! I'm sorry I haven't called..." I apologized.

"Its fine.. How about.. You give me your phone number and I'll call you?" he suggested.

I nod. "Sure, why not?"

We saved our contact information into one another's phones.

"I saved myself under the name Hillary!" I told him, as Kai returned my phone and I returned his.

"I'll change it to my wife." Kai winked.

I slapped his shoulder again. "Kai!"

He laughed. "We would make a cute couple don't you think?"

"Sorry but I'm already married to Choi Siwon!" I stuck my tongue out.

We began laughing and telling jokes on the way home, finally then we made it to the campus ground. Kai walked me to my dorm room.

"Thanks for walking me." I smiled. "Goodnight pups!" I crouched down and ruffled their fur. I giggled as one licked my hand. "Goodnight Kai."

Kai nodded. "Goodnight."

Then...

Kai leaned in and kissed my forehead. He then whispered angelically in my ears.

"Dream of me, beautiful."

I felt my face burn tomato red. "G-goodnight."

Kai smiled, gently touched my cheek and head back with the puppies following him.

I touched my cheek. Wahhh. Why is it burning?
