Chapter Twenty One

"... Angel...." I looked down at her.

"I am waiting! Kiss already!" She giggled.

I stared at Kris who was giving me a disguisted look. Oh come on like I want to even kiss you!

"Tick tock tick tock tick tock..." Angel stood there making clock noises.

"Well..." Kris leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Do you want to hurt the little girl's feelings? Now stop being a chicken and kiss me."

I scowl. "Me? A chicken? I just don't want to kiss someone that looks like a chicken."

"Chicken is not my style." he rolled his eyes.

"And Kris is not Chicken's style." I stuck my tongue out.

"Mommy... Daddy... Please don't argue!" Angel pouts.

This Angel is sure quite a Devil I would say. "We're not arguing, your daddy is just being a stupid idiot."

"Well daddy should stop being a stupid idiot and kiss mommy now!" she giggled.

Kris hesitated for a moment. He leans in close and was about to kiss me until...

My cell phone rang. I AM SAVED!

"Hold on a second..." I picked up my phone. "Hello... Kai?"

"Jagiya! Where are you now?"

"I'm just hanging out with Kris...."

"Oh... Well do you want to go out on a dinner date tonight?"

"Uh... Okay sure! Should we meet up somewhere or..?"

"Yeah, I'll park in front of the university and we'll head into the city okay? Meet me in about ten minutes?"

"M'kay, I'll see you there in ten!" I hung up.

"Your boyfriend called you?" Kris scoffs.

I totally forgot Kris was there. "No, Kai is not my boyfriend." I rolled my eyes. "Well, I gotta get going."

"Mommy, where are you going?" Angel frowned.

"Huh? Well I was going to meet a frie-"

"Aww do you have to go mommy? I miss you at home!"

"Mommy is going on a business trip so she won't be returning home for a while Angel.." Kris said.

"Oh..." Angel hugged me tightly. "I will miss you mommy! Come back home soon, okay?"

I nod and pat her head. "Okay Angel..."

"First! A goodbye kiss!" she giggled.

And I thought that I was going to get away from it when Kai called and literally saved me from kissing a chicken.

"Uhh-"

Kris kissed me fully on the lips without me having caution. My eyes widened. "GOTTAGONOWBYE." I bit my lip and ran away.
