New day, new school, another future failed attempt at trying to fit into the human world.
I've tried to fit in multiple times, but each time they just push me away, try to tame me. I'm rouge, I can't be tamed, I can't be controlled.
I don't think that this year will be any different though, the same old stuff I have to put up with.
"Your not pretty enough!"
"Blonde hair does not go with green eyes!"
"You draw your abs on!"
"Fake!"
All these may seem like small comments, but to a wolf that's been all by herself her whole life until high school, these comments can ruin said life. I'm pretty sure when they say,
"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words may never hurt me."
They had to have been joking. Words are worse than a broken bone, and I'd be the one to know, I've had to put up with both before.
I roll my eyes and walk into homeroom, deciding that if I was going to stay in this school I was going to demand respect like mean girls do.
When I enter the room, there are two girls around my age in the front of the classroom standing under what I believe to be their names written on a chalkboard.
Mine's up there, too.
Ashley Miers, Toby Grier, and Samantha Ryd.
"Ms. Miers, I presume." The teacher, Mr. Lonnier says.
"I've been told that's my name. So sure, whatever, I don't really care what you call me as long as I don't have to stand up here talking to you much longer." I snap and the whole class goes, "Ohhhhh"
Mr. Lonnier looks at them and they shut up.
"Stand under your name, young lady!" Ha, I'm going to fit in here, first day, the class already likes me, and the teacher already hates me. Beautiful.
It's not like I tried to get on his bad side, it kind of just happened.
"Samantha, Toby, Ashley, why don't you girls tell us something about yourselves?" Mr. Lonnier says.
"Well, I'd like to tell you that...I want to sit down in a seat and get today over with." I roll my eyes and walk to the back corner of the classroom.
