The wrong choice

chapter 14

there were knocks at my door as i was getting dressed. i sighed and looked at my watch.

"it's 9am who's at my house" i mumbled going down stairs before the woke ryan.

i swung the door open to be face to face with jhené
and namiko.

"i know it's early and i didn't want come here later because i have a lot of interviews and stuff going on today so" she said handing me namiko bag.

" okay uhh you coming to get her tonight" i asked taking everything from her.

" no not tonight maybe tomorrow or the day after" she said.

" okay that's fine" i said looking at the smiling girl on the floor.

" hey princess" i said picking her up.

" look at you growing up and standing on your own and stuff" i said.

" mama" she said pointing at me putting her fingers in her mouth.

i looked at jhené and she had a sad smile.

" i'll send you the video of her first words and of her walking" she said.

" thanks" i sighed out.

we sat there staring at each other before i heard feet walking around the house.

" well um i'll see you in a few days to get her.. have fun with mama nami" she said kissing her daughter. she gave me a smile and walked away. i didn't close the door until she got into her car.

" well nami your stuck with me for a few days" i said with a smile.

" mama" she said.

i walked with her and her stuff to her room.

i sat her and everything else down.

i picked her bag back up and put it in the corner when there was a knock at the door.

i turned around and saw ryan.

" hey" i said walking over to her placing a kiss on her lips.

" i was wondering where you went off to" she said.

" to get namiko" i chuckled.

" nami" i said as i turned around to see her trying to get to some of the toys i bought her.

" let me help you baby" i said walking over and picking a few up and placing them out.

she went over to the mini drums i got her and started hitting them.

" mini musician nice" i said with a chuckle.

" well i have to head out" she said.

i looked up at her.

" i thought you were off today" i said.

" have to go see the fam" she smiled.

" okay well be safe" i said blowing her a kiss because nami started pulling on my pants.

" i will and i changed the sheets" she said walking away and out the door.

" well it's really just you and me" i said picking her up.

i walked out the room and grabbed my keys.

" you want more toys" i asked her and she smiled.

" i'm taking that as a yes" i said as we left the house too.

" y/n where are you going to put all that" jhené asked.

" i don't know yet i'm trying to figure that out" i chuckled.

she called to talk to nami before she went to bed and namiko showed her all of her toys.

" maybe i should've told her to pick a few instead of pushing around the cart picking up every toy she touched" i chuckled.

" welcome to parenting y/n" she said laughing at the end.

" thanks i think i'm doing a pretty good job so far" i joked.

" mama" nami said rubbing her eyes.

" this one's getting tired i think it's bed time for us" i said.

" bye nami" jhené said.

nami said something back and jhené just chuckled.

" bye y/n" she said.

" bye aiko" i said then hung up.

" is my baby ready for beddd" i said standing and picking her up.

i walked upstairs and changed both of our clothes and laid down.

" goodnight babygirl" i said kissing the child's head next to me then closing my eyes.
