Chapter 3

After spending the day with them all we headed back into the house. I was on my phone when I heard a crying baby.

" Namiko please calm down"

I look up to see jhené trying to calm down a fussy baby. I sighed and put my phone in my pocket. Jhené honestly looked defeated with her.

" Let me see her" i rasped out.

She looked at me and gently handed me the fussy child. Nami started to quiet down slowly and just stare at me with a smile.

" Why you giving your mommy a hard time huh?" I asked in a baby voice.

She started reaching for my face and babbling on about whatever while I just listened. I was sitting on the couch and stood her up. She started bouncing all over the place. I forgot jhené was standing right there until I looked up.

" oh yeah Uh did you um want her back now" I asked awkwardly.

" no um do you think you can keep her for a bit while I take a nap if not I can try and fine Sean a-"

" it's cool go nap she's alright where she's at" I said looking back at her. She leaned forward and started trying to bite my nose with her gums.

" ba ba ba ba ba ba"

" my nose isn't food nami you do know that" I chuckled.

" Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba"

" whatever you said" I said getting up and moving past jhené to go to the kitchen.

" Do you think we can um talk privately one day" she said stopping me.

" About" I asked back.

" Just everything I feel like how we ended I didn't give you the truth like you asked me to tell you"

I chuckled "you sure it's just the truth or you ain't get everything off your chest" i said walking away from her into the kitchen.

I heard her sigh and heard footsteps walk in a opposite direction.

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

" You're mother stresses me out" i said to Nami and she laughed.

I chuckled and grabbed a smile bottle for her.

Time Skip

" Take a picture it's cute"

" it is she doesn't even sleep this good when she's with Sean"

" this is a sign jhené the Nami is even happier with y/n"

" I'm happy with Sean"

" You trying to convince us or yourself that"

" can y'all please shut up" i groaned out.

I opened my eyes to see 3 idiots looking at me. I rolled my eyes and slowly sat up with nami still on me. I got up and handed her to jhené.

" I need to use the bathroom" I said taking off towards it.

I did my business and came out. I went to say something to Trey when my phone started ringing.

I looked to see jada calling me. I picked it up and put it to my ear.

" Yes jada"

" don't yes jada me where are you at?"

" Yeo i don't know what type of time you're on but you need to chill. I'm with my brother, Jamila,Jhené, and Namiko"

" that's funny.."

" What is I ain't tell a joke" I said walking to the couch and sitting down.

" What's funny is all of a sudden you want to be around you're family again and ms.aiko is around all the time"

" don't start this you know the type of history my family have with her" i said rolling my eyes.

" yea well maybe as you're girlfriend I don't think you should be around you're EX so much" she said putting the emphasis on ex.

" You trust me right" I asked.

" yeah bu-"

" then act like it" i said then hung up.

" trouble in paradise" Trey questioned with a chuckle.

" shit wasn't paradise to begin with" i said with a sigh.
