HAECHAN POV
"Aish where the hell are they?" I wondered as I had been waiting for a good 10 minutes and i hate to wait.
I couldn't take it anymore and started walking inside the school to see a bench near the trees.
'why not just sit and wait for these brats to come' I thought before slowly walking towards one of the benches hand in my pocket.
I sat in it just to hear some noise behind the bushes behind me. Some stray cat probably.
'so annoying!' I thought to myself as I just waited not caring about anything.
"If these two don't come any sooner I'm going to kill them with my own hands" I said lowly just for me to hear.
I got a call suddenly , as I struggle to get my phone out from the pocket of my leather jacket. I answered the call and clenched my teeth at the name.
"What is it ?" I asked in monotone to the person.
"Wow! Such a good way to greet me my son!! Thank you I'm so moved...you have learnt your manners so well-" He said but before he could continue I cut him off.
"Can you come straight to the point? What.do.you.need?" I asked my so called father through gritted teeth.
"Your mom is not well" I cut him off yet again.
"Mom!? What happened to.mom!? You better not do anything!!!! Is she sick??" I interrogated.
"Wow son!! Calm down there......i mean it's not like I will kill her......not yet" he said and haechan could feel him smile literally.
"Well you know what son ....you shouldn't make a weakness for yourself....and that would make the enemies target easier. Do you get what I'm saying?" He asked with authority oozed voice.
This always brought chills down his spine.
His father was the founder of NCT. And now he gave his leadership to taeyong who was his trusted friend's son who is also a mafia. But his father didn't lose his authority over NCT as he never failed to make one wet his pants when he walked through the headquarters with the cold and strict face of his.
But haechan feared of something else other than his father being his boss it was rather something he didn't want to remember.
It was something he didnt want to believe.
"Donghyuck are you there" his father brought him out of his thoughts.
"Don't call me that" haechan growled lowly at that name.
It was a name he hated rather it was name that brought back scenes he wanted to delete. Her face , the bleed in her stomach , her eyes crying for help while he stood not doing anything. She was the only one that called his name ever so sweetly but now that she is not here what's so important of that name. The fact that his dad named him? Nah. Never.
"Why does it remind you of her? She was a bad omen ....a child that shouldn't have been born. You mom loved her but now now we know she spread darkness wherever she went , she doesn't deserve to be your sister haechan..." He said in a oh so fake voice that got his blood all boiling and face red.
"You dare tell anything about her!!! I won't allow your bad mouth to speak about her!!! She was not a bad omen she was an angel!!! If there's someone unwanted right now, it's YOU!!" haechan fired back loudly and hung the call up.
Haechan started to get a headache now. He never had before screamt at his father like that and he knew he would have to apologize cause his father was the boss afterall and whenever he screamt his father it's good for you not to go near him. Cause he would kill people with his rage.
As he held his head with his hands he heard someone shriek behind him.
He looked behind him to see a girl who looked younger than him wearing a school uniform ( a student) and a black hoodie that covered her eyes , looking at the tree with a scared expression.
As he went towards the tree he saw a .........spider.
Yup a spider.
He scoffed before throwing the spider away with my hand.
As he turned towards her , she had already bowed and about to leave but before she could do that he pulled her back by her hoodie.
She was scared now.
He pinned her to the tree before going dangerously close to her face.
"Did you hear?" He asked just one sentence that left her nervous.
Aera just stared back at the boy with big eyes. It was something she never saw coming. Yes she had heard him but she didn't understand what he spoke about. Just about his sister I guess... She was about runaway from that place which she found for some peace after an uncanny memory came up but as she had stood up she found a big spider which is something she was afraid of since forever.
But Right now her only concern was how close he was....it didn't make her feel shy or anything rather fear overcame that emotion , for her scar could clearly be seen to him if he came any closer.
"N-no I d-didnt hear a-anything" she tried replying confidently looking down but her stuttering broke that as she lied.
He chucked deeply.
"Oh! A spider!!" He pointed the tree above her head causing her to look Above and flinch. But there was nothing there making her put her head back put of anger.
This motion caused her hood to come off causing her scar to unravel.
She was shocked and scared as she saw where he looked at.....her eye ....no rather the scar on it.
She covered her eyes almost immediately and slowly her eyes started to water.
She hated it. She hated his eyes looking. She hated to be pitied or looked down on.
She quickly ran away from there after pushing him with all her might.
Haechan just stood a little shocked. She was so pretty that was the first thing he saw. She looked so innocent and cute but as his eyes went to her eye they widened by a little for it was something he never expected.
'is that why she hid it?' he wondered. But quickly shook his thoughts away and walked back to the bench just to see chenle and jisung running towards him.
"Sorry hyung I hope you didn't wait long .....jisung's nature call was just in the great timing" chenle exclaimed as a jisung just scratched his head embarrassed following right behind.
Haechan just rolled his eyes at them before walking off to his car.
Little they know that the bond had activated and their marks now shined a little. But if they don't touch each other in 5 days they will die and shine would disappear.
Would they meet each other on time?? Or watch the shine falter
