CHAPTER 26 {the end}

"I am not going to bare this anymore! Go and fix everything! This is all your fault!!"

"W-What!? Who let you in!? How are you walking!?"

"you should have protected your son! Sung in..this is the last time I'm telling you..you either do something or I'll do It my way"

Haechan's mom was shook on hearing the news of her son injured.

She never showed her anger.

And that had been her biggest fault.

Then and now too.

She just loved Sung in and believed everything he did had a reason, thats one of the main reasons she fell in love with him other than being his soulmate by destiny. But who she loved was just a mask, she realised that after having her daughter.

Sung in despised girl kids. She didn't know that because her first kid had been haechan.

His reasoning to it was ridiculous, girls are weak and can be used against us.

He would always scream at her...

She would end up crying in her mother's arms questioning her dad's love for her.

But what could her mom say? She didn't know how her husband turned into a devil? Or more like she didn't know he was a devil in disguise when she married him...

One day he just snapped. He was screaming at her and throwing all these things down..she cried loudly...cause what could that child even do when he locked the door?

Her mother heard this late and banged the door trying to get it open.

She ran to get help from the guards downstairs and thats when she heard it. Gunshot.

She felt like such a bad mother to let her child be killed in that sinners hands. She had fought with him so much after that..Anger filled her eyes as she found her daughter lying dead in the middle of the room with a small haechan crying.

Haechan was inside..watching all that happen in front of his eyes.

After the incident with her daughter she had become so weak. She was forced to eat by her husband and his reasoning to this being if she died he would too.

And then she realised it too late...that he always had a reason for everything...but it was never a good one.

She had become weak..he fed her antipsychotic drugs which made her functions slow and she forgot what she was doing.

She had completely lost contact with her son and herself too. She didn't have her conscious mind.

Until one of the guards who had been watching over felt bad for her and didn't feed her the medications for a month.

She grew consciousness. She got to know that haechan had visited many times but her husband told him that she didn't want to meet him.

She held on for a few days and now the guard just told her that haechan and his gang were attacked but they managed to escape.

She immediately stormed over to his office where he looked stressed.

"I heard its because of taejoon??"

Haechan's dad froze.

"huh? can't talk now can you? Taejoon always had something against you...but I'm pretty disgusted that you wouldn't even protect your son..are you that scared of him?!"

His hand started shaking...

"I-im not scared of him.."

"He was always better than you right? He was the best option for a succeeder but your dad never appreciated him.....just because he was not his blood son...but an adopted son"
