"Aera!!"
Haechan screamt dashing towards the stairs and before aera could fall further down he caught her and carried her.
He immediately looked at her and saw her bleeding from the head, her cheeks with dried tears and her wrists all red.
Haechan's eyes teared as he held her close holding her face so tenderly scared he would hurt her any further.
"Princess...open your eyes...aera!" She didn't open her eyes making him so scared.
Taeyong ran towards haechan after all the seventeen members were killed with the split members joining.
"Aera...." He whispered down on his knees trembling.
No...not again....
Doyoung immediately rushed to them as he took her aside and started checking upon her.
His soulmates face....it looked so pained....he would never forgive himself for what happened...
He couldn't protect her...he failed as a soulmate....he got her in trouble...
Before haechan could blame himself more he was brought out of his trance by a familiar voice.
"Well well look whose here! My brother's son...so good to see you honestly.. it's been long"
Haechan looked up to see his uncle, looking as old as ever, along with another man, presumably aera's dad.
He didn't care who it was he wanted answers and he wanted to kill them right now.
" why did you do it." He glared at Taejoon who was not little affected by it.
He was used to his brother giving him the same glare.
"You see haechan-ah I feel very bad to include you and your soulmate into a brothers fight you know" he said making haechan frown.
"Brother...dad? What did he ever do to you?"
Taejoon chuckled at his cluelessness before he slowly smiled at the bitterness of the memories.
"So you never knew I guess...all those days when my father was preferred him more than me...when he gave him the mafia authority even though I was the eldest...adored him more than he did to me...considering him human and me not even as a living being...not giving me food but giving him twice as much....and.....my love.....he took her too.....she became her soulmate and he didn't even tell me a thing about taking my girlfriend away..."
Taejoon lived the terrible life of being unnoticed his whole life.
He was practically a wall to his father. Something which was never given much importance to and love? He didn't even know what it was until he found his girlfriend only for her to be taken away too.
"So that's why I got you here because I want to see him fall...his whole family fall...his gang fall apart...but now that's not all to why we particular took aera..."
Haechan just watched taking in all the information in disbelief, while taejoon dragged a nervous sungtae forward.
"Here! I'm sure you've not seen him before have you...meet him this is sungtae....ah or this introduction might be better..." he paused as haechan listened attentively , " he is aera's dad"
Haechan was not shocked but confused.
Why would aera's dad be involved in this? How could a dad even do this to his own daughter?
Haechan clenched his fist.
"nice to meet you my daughters soulmate....well not the best way to meet but hey! Atleast better now than never right?" Sungtae said getting rid of all the nervousness of facing a gang because he was assured by taejoons plan.
