CHAPTER 13

"No! Me!!!"

"No she doesn't like you at all!!"

"Guys please calm down..." Aera sure didn't expect for the two boys to be fighting for a seat next to her meanwhile a calm haechan was chewing his food next to her as if a world war wasn't going to erupt in the dining room.

"Guys!! I already finished eating...." She said a little loudly. I mean who was she kidding these two boys started fighting when she started to eat and she had already finished her food while these boys haven't stopped yet.

"Aera want me to help you?" Doyoung asked concerned.

The girl just shook her head as a no. She knew they were all concerned for her cause once she came downstairs with haechan to the living room , literally everyone came running to her and gave her a bone crushing hug (thankfully taeyong came to the rescue and pulled them away)

After washing her plate she grabbed a glass to drink some water. As she was drinking it a voice appeared from behind her.

"Can't you stay here?" A voice made aera choke on her water as she coughed and turned around to meet chenle.

"W-what? All of a sudden?" She asked still catching her breathe.

"Aera...you had to tell me...I would have helped you , me and jisung were so shocked to hear about your sca- about what your brother has done..
And I don't think it's safe to let you stay there anymore.....not after what he did last night" Chenle said genuinely worried. He knew he met her just a few days before but they did become close friends in no time. Aera was the only girl who didn't try to grab his attention or his friendship just for his wealth or popularity and that was all he wanted from a friend.

Aera was the only friend in school apart from jisung he has ever been with. And to tell he got protective over her in a few days wouldn't be an overstatement at all cause he was like that in nature.

To say aera was deeply moved would be an understatement cause now she felt so thankful to find a friend like chenle. She had never found a good friend except hayeon all these days but then chenle and jisung make her feel so worthy of being a friend.

"Chenle I'm really thankful for what you and your friends have done for me.... actually I wouldn't mind staying here but I'm afraid I can't...cause no matter how much he hates me he is still my blood.  And I can't help but hate myself for this but I guess I will have to just bare with him for a few days. Atleast until i get enough money to move into a house sufficient to live. I don't want to burden you and your friends here...really thanks!" Aera said and hugged him as an act out of gratitude towards the male for being so understanding.

But that didn't last long as they were literally torn apart by a human walking in between them giving them or more like chenle a look aera couldnt decipher.

"The last time I saw kitchens were not created for the path inside it to be blocked" he said as he washed his hands but before he could leave  chenle said something that  made him stop in his tracks.

"Haechan hyung you don't have to get jealous I'm not going to steal your soulmate...she's all yours" chenle said while holding back his laughter.

Haechan scoffed at this.
"Who said I'm jealous? Any person who would walk up looking at this sight would tell that!!! Get out of my way now!!" Haechan screamt pointlessly before pushing a chenle ( who was not even in his way) out of his way.

Chenle just shook his head as aera was a little disappointed. Who was she kidding she was a lot disappointed. I mean her soulmate doesn't like her but that doesn't mean she would give up. She is going to somehow try to get him like her back.
