14. Something strange

|Taehyung's perspective|

    "So, what's the deal?" Yoongi asks me and I raise my left eyebrow.

    "What do you mean?" I ask in my turn, not knowing what he wants.

    "I talk about Hueninkay. You heard something about him? I didn't saw him since last week." Yoongi explains and I just shruggle.

    "Neah, I don't know a shit about him, and I don't even care anymore. We beat him once, so I guess it's enough." I tell and Hoseok nods subtly.

     "Finally, you was able to tell something smart for the first time in your life." Hoseok mumbles in my side and I just roll my eyes.

    "Then how it's our bet going?" Yoongi asks again, and I look instantly at Jungkook's and his friends table.

    Jin and Namjoon talk something while Jimin and Jungkook laugh and eat. I have to admit that Jungkook's laugh it's not such an annoying sound.

   I glance after at my friend then I smirk.

    "Nobody can resist to Kim Taehyung. That bunny falls already in my trap. It's pathetic." I say with a cocky tone, and Hoseok just sigh.

    "You really enjoying doing this? You really like to play with his feelings, right?" Hoseok asks me and I look at Jungkook again.

    Our eyes intersect, then he smiles a little. I smile too, then I wink at him. He returns his attention to Jimin, and I don't have any idea why I hate even more that midget. Whatever.

    "Yeah, it's funny." I reply and Yoongi's giggles receive a few looks from the people around us.

   Hoseok takes another sip from his drink, then looks at me.

    "You don't have any idea what he gone through, Tae. Maybe there is a reason for his timidity. Maybe you should at least try to know him." Hoseok tells in a serious tone, and I giggle instantly, but I stop after some of Jungkook's words comes into my mind.

"I want to die"

"There's no point in wasting your power on me, Kim Taehyung. You can't break a bottle that has already been broken into thousands of pieces."

"Just die already, Jeon. Just the way everyone wants it. "

    It's not like I care about him or something. Heck, I barely know him! It's just... Weird. I want to understand why he told all that things. I'm just curious, nothing more.

    "He seems a drama queen." I tell and Yoongi laughs.

    "So he is like you. You two can get along." Hoseok tells in an amused voice, and I show him my middle finger.

    I'm not dramatic as all.

   "For me, that rabbit it's nothing more than another toy, you idiot. I will show Yoongi how Kim Taehyung make someone to fall in love with him, then destroy his heart. Simple. He is an easy prey anyway." I finish, then I smirk.

    "Maybe you will trick yourself during this time, Tae. You don't know how secrets can Jungkook hides. Maybe you will fall in love with him." Hoseok whispers the last part, and I slap my forehead slightly.

    "You had drogs this morning?" I ask him then Yoongi laughs.

   To fall in love with him? I think Hoseok really need a checkup at hospital.

|Jungkook's perspective|

    "So, what are you doing tomorrow?" Taehyung asks me and I shruggle.

   "Ăăm... Not sure, I will go to classes?" I reply with a question at my turn, and he seems amused.

    Yeah, maybe my insecurity ass it's kinda funny for those around me.

    "You want to go out after? We can buy some food from the store. We kinda need some fruits and milk." he says and I look at the floor instantly.

    A few days passed since me and Taehyung was in the amusement park, and I can tell something for certain. I misjudged Taehyung. Maybe at the beginning he was an asshole, but I get to know him a little. He is really a nice guy.

    "Sure." I reply in a simple way, because I don't want to stutter again.

    He smiles then sits on the sofa, while I search with a glance my phone. I don't really know where I put him!

    I want to pass Taehyung, but I kick myself against the table next to him, and then I start mumbling in pain. I refrain from telling a few curses, and then I'm speechless the next moment. Taehyung lifts me into his arms and then sits me on the couch as I try to realize what just happened. Then he goes to the kitchen, and I just look at the floor.

    He ... Did he just lift me in his arms?

   I feel my cheeks hotter in a few seconds, and I don't understand what actually it's happening with me. He returns from the kitchen and sits on his knees in front of me, then I see that I am an ice pack in my right hand.

    "You have to put some ice. It will swell if you don't take care now." he says and then I swallow hard, and he gives me the ice pack.

   I nod and want to take the ice, but when my fingers touch his fingers, I freeze. And I can swear it has nothing to do with the ice next to my hand. I then look him straight in the eye, and he does the same thing.

   I don't know why I feel like I can't take my eyes off him, but I know I haven't noticed what beautiful eyes he has so far. Does he always have such long eyelashes?

    A few seconds pass, then more. I no longer feel the pain in my knees, I hear nothing but the much too fast beating of my heart.

    Taehyung seems to want to say something, but then he straighten his voice and stand up. I look at the floor and grit my teeth- it's an annoying habit of mine.

     "I... I go to see Yoongi. You should put the ice." he tells then leave, while I look absent-minded at his steps.

     What the fuck just happened?
