"Asdfghjkl" I yelled in anger, my fist thudding against the heavy etiquette book. My etiquette teacher, Mrs. Brian, gasped at my behavior, "Young Lady!" she yelled. Welllll not really yelled. Kind of a whisper-yell. "Sorryyy, I forgot how to speak." I replied. "ASDFGHJKL," I said once more, this time on purpose.
Mrs. Brian gaped at me, her expression so unbelievable I had to stifle a little laugh. "PFFFT-" ok I guess that wasn't very 'little.'
My etiquette teacher was now tomato red. I wasn't sure if she was angry or embarrassed. I think she was both.
"To be teaching this mess of a child. I- I must be out of my mind!" She quickly got up from her seat, wobbling a bit as she rested her wrist on her forehead, her other hand on her heart.
''What.' I thought.
I watched as Vulcan rushed to help her up. Oh riiiiight. HE was still here. I couldn't help but roll my eyes. Why was he still here?! My brother had volunteered, against my will, to see how I'm in my classes. I was, of course, damn well not pleased. But I had damn well no choice sadly.
"Brother! She's completely fine. Can't you see? She's overreacting. If it's enough to fool you, she can get the main role in a Broadway show!" I furiously say, waving my hands towards her in a careless manner.
My brother sighed as my teacher couldn't hold her act any longer. She took her belongings quickly and said in a brusque manner, "I will leave a resignation letter at your desk my lady." And with that she curtsied and walked away.
Vulcan looked at me shocked and disappointed.
I threw my hands in the air, "What? She left at her own will. It's not like I said something like, 'LEAVE PEASANT. AND NEVER SET FOOT IN MY HOUSEHOLD AGAIN. OR YOU SHALL EXPERIENCE THE PAIN OF GETTING YOUR FEET CUT AWAY FROM YOUR BODY.' " My villainess mode had been activated, and honestly I was having too much fun.
I giggled at what I had just said. I assumed Vulcan was not happy with this behavior of mine, but when I looked up, just for a split second, I saw him half smile.
As I was about to tease Vulcan, a knight interrupted, literally busting open the door and making me jump from my chair.
"Excuse you! Do you not know how to KNOCK?" I said in a rather angry manner I didn't mean.
The knight cowered a bit, and quickly bowed down, "I'm sorry, young miss, and young master. I will receive any punishment you'd like."

Why was he being so dramatic? Oh. I realized how I'd let myself become too much like Ariana. I was still Ayanna inside. How could I scream at the knight?
Embarrassed, I stated, "Ah! You don't have to do that... I'm sorry for yelling like that, I was scared at the sudden sound of the door open..." I sweat as I side glanced at my brother, who was watching my moves towards my guards. Sure, we were both joking earlier about me being a villainess with that over dramatic etiquette teacher. But this time however, I had probably screamed a bit too loud at the passing knight...
The knight had slowly raised his head. His eyes were still on the floor.
"It is quite disrespectful to look down when talking to someone. Look at us. And tell us what brings thee here." Vulcan says, his tone contrary to when he was talking to me.
The knight seemed to be in a serious and scared state. He spoke. Very quietly, in a terrified manner, "This knight doesn't know why. But he was told to tell Lady Ariana Marilinne... His highness... Lucas Vilicante is here."
