Chapter 25

Jennie's Pov.

I finished packing for LJ's stuff because tomorrow afternoon  we're leaving for Korea for good.

I was zipping LJ's suitcase when my eyes caught the ring on my finger.

I can't help but smile because until now I still can't believe the good things that are happening in my life, everything changed in an instant.

Ring? yes you read it right, Lisa and I were married just the other day.

A week after my parents visited us, Lisa came here and she proposed to me.

I can't help but shake my head and chuckle because the outcome of her surprise proposal is not according to her plan.

I laughed at her that day because Lisa was very disappointed with what happened.

Flash back

I came home from the company and said goodbye to my colleagues, to Jimin and Irene because there is only a week left and we are leaving this country.

It's sad to think that I will be away from my friends and especially from mama Lilian, but I know that I will be happy because I will be with the person I love.

When I opened the door I was shocked to see Lisa, standing in front of me holding a flower while smiling next to our daughter.

I didn't know she was coming now.

She approached  me and she kissed my lips, I smiled in the middle of our kiss, because of the happiness i feel as i kiss her back.

3 weeks that I haven't seen her I feel like it's been a very long time, I miss her so much.

"Hi love you miss me?"
she teased me, as she gave me the flower she was holding I immediately took it and rolled my eyes at her that made her laugh.

I hugged Lj and kissed her on both cheeks.

Lisa guides me towards the dining and I saw that everything was set up with all our favorite food and cupcakes.

I looked at her with a frown.

"What is this? it's not your birthday, especially not my birthday and it's not LJ's birthday either."
I asked her, she smiled at me like a fool.

She was about to answer when Lj suddenly patted her chest.

Lisa and i were confused but we panicked because we noticed that she was having a hard time breathing, she choked by the cupcake she was holding.

I patted Lj's back just enough not to hurt her  and she coughed and spewed a small thing out of her mouth.

I hugged her tightly because I was so scared.

I looked at Lisa I can see the concern on her face but it looks like something is bothering her.

"I'm fine mommy, sorry dada if I had only followed you  not to eat the cup cake I wouldn't have choked" 
Lj said while sadly playing with her finger.

I stood up and looked at the tiny thing that came out of our daughters mouth my eyes widened in shock as I looked at Lisa, she was comforting our daughter.

" it's ok ,baby It's not your fault don't be sad, dada isn't mad at you."
Lisa said to her.

I saw her wipe away her tears as she picked up the ring and knelt in front of me.

"this is not how i imagined this, I know that i fail to surprise you of what happened but I have to continue it, I'm sorry my proposal didn't go well but I tried my best my love , I'm not really good at things like this. "
Her voice was shaking, I want to laugh because Lisa's face shows disappointment.

"Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. I know it's too fast but  what else we're going to make it last long, If we love each other and we have a LJ already. Will you Marry Me.?"

She asked while blushing with embarrassment .

She is so cute when she is disappointed. I smiled at her and I gave my hand to and she immediately looked at me she quickly put the ring on my finger she stood up and hugged me tightly.

"Did I say Yes?"
I teased her and she immediately broke the hug and looked at me.

"yahhhhh don't joke like that."
She said and I kissed her quickly on the lips.

" hehe it's a Yes babe even if you just give me the ring without any effort. I will still answer you a big Yes."
I told her and she hugged me again.

"I'm really sorry Lj took the wrong cupcake, the cupcake she ate is really for you."
she said

" Oh so you want to choke me?" I started laughing.

"It's not funny. if I choke you, it will be in a different way." She whispered

"And we'll get married tomorrow, i want us to get married before we fly to Korea."
she added and I was shocked.

"Lisa, same sex marriage is not valid here in the Philippines."
I told her.

"Babe I know.  I have a lawyer with me for our wedding, and our marriage papers will not be processed here in the Philippines, so don't worry I already plan everything. I just want everything to be right when we arrive in Korea, don't worry when the little bean comes out of your tummy we'll get married again and I'll fulfill your dream wedding. "
She said seriously that my heart melted.

I just nodded while smiling because I didn't know what to say at this moment."

End of flash back.

and we got married the next day after she proposed to me we simply got married in a hotel.

I was surprised that my parents and my sister were there,  Jimin, Irene mama lilian and my bosses in the Company are also there.

Lisa said that it was also  like  a farewell party for me because I was leaving the company. I was very happy that day but there was a part of my heart that made me feel nervous because Lisa's parents didn't attend, but Lisa said that they were just busy with business so they didn't make it.

Everything we need to bring tomorrow is ready. I looked around the house I couldn't stop my tears from flowing because I still couldn't believe I could leave this place.

In  more than four years I have stayed here I have accepted my destiny that I will grow old here and that I will raise my daughter here.

But destiny is really unexpected. I just pray that this is the beginning of a new life for us.

I gave this house to mama Lilian for my wholehearted gratitude for helping me.

I caressed my tummy as I continued to look at the house.

"You know what baby bean? you're my lucky charm. Since you came, everything has changed . So just hold on my dear, i love you so much."

I went to our room and saw that Lisa and LJ were sleeping soundly while hugging each other, I smiled and lay down next to them.

Tomorrow is the beginning of a new life, I know it will not be easy but I will try my best to fight for my family.
