Chapter 41

Lisa's Pov.

After Jennie and I talked, we just cuddled on the couch of her office and talked about what had happened in our lives for the six years we had been apart.

Jennie is the most genuine, kind and selfless woman I've ever met, despite the unforgivable things I did to them, she welcomed me and gave me the opportunity to prove myself again.

I didn't expect that it would be this difficult to forgive myself, when I know how bad I did to my family, but they forgave me without giving me a hard time.

The feeling that I don't deserve them is getting worse.

I was a Jerk who wasted a lot of time that should have been with them.

I hurt the woman who did nothing but sacrifice herself for the sake of everyone.

I made my daughter cry many times because of my obliviousness and I still carry the burden that my son died because of my stupidity.

My feelings are so heavy that I don't know if I will be happy with what is happening right now or not, I hate this feeling but I have no right to complain because it's all my fault.

It's hard but I have to be strong, I have to prove to Jennie that I deserve the chance that she gave me.

"Lisa, what's your plan now? you know that my life is here, right? My dad needs me here and LJ is already studying here."
She turned me back from my deep thoughts.

I know she's worried because I'm based in Korea, but before I came here to talk to her, I had already decided everything.

I would entrust the company in Korea to Jisoo and I would manage the company here in New Zealand.

She sacrificed a lot for me before, now it's time for me to sacrifice for them.

Right now this is the least I can do for them, I cost them a lot of trouble and heartaches before, so I don't want them to adjust again for me all i want to do now is to make them happy.

"I'll stay here for good, in fact i should be here in the first place, if it wasn't for what happened to Me and Mina."
I  shrug at her while wrapping  my hands around her waist.

"So she's really your ex huh, if I only knew I've already fired her for a long time. Are you sure nothing happened to  both of you before.?"
She asked me.

"It's almost, but we didn't because she was scared of what she saw , you know what i mean this thing between my two legs."
I replied to her.

"it's really big though, but when I saw that for the first time I wasn't scared  in fact, i was so amazed."
She answered , as she turned her gaze  down to my thigh with the obvious bulge in my pants.

My throat became dry because of the way she looked at me.

I shook my head to compose myself. I need to change the topic before I might not be able to control myself.

I know I'm a pervert and I miss her so much but this is not the right place for us to do that.

"I think we need to leave to pick up Lj from school?"
I casually said, she looked at me and kissed me quickly on the lips.

"I love you Lisa"
She said as she stood up , I pulled her and kissed her on both cheeks before kissing her on the lips.

"I love you too my love"
I replied as our lips parted, she smiled at me and we got ready to pick up Lj from school.

I know she'll be happy when she finds out that me and her mom already reconcile.

We walked to the elevator holding each other's hands, with my other hand I was carrying Jennie's office bag.

All the employees were staring at us but Jennie ignored them.

When we arrived in the basement immediately  I opened the car door for her.

As we walked inside the school I did not expect to meet the President of this university in the hallway and Jennie was surprised when the University president greeted me politely.

"Ms. Manoban I didn't know you were going to visit today." he said as he shook my hands.

I saw Jennie's frown, especially when she heard the word Ms.

"Oh don't worry I'm not here for business, I'm here to pick up our daughter, and I just want to correct I'm already Mrs.   this is my wife Mrs. Jennie Kim Manoban." I introduced Jennie to him and she immediately offered the handshake

I saw the confusion on Jennie's face.

"Oh sorry I don't know that you are married and your daughter is studying here. With how big this university is and the number of the Manoban that are studying here, I did not expect that one of them is your daughter"

"Don't worry I'll introduce her to you when I have the chance." I replied  and we said goodbye to him

"why does he know you?" Jennie asked as we walked to Lj's classroom, I smiled at her.

" I own this University." I simply answered, she covered her mouth in shock for what she heard.

"I've been paying for your daughter's tuition here for four years and then you'll say that you're the owner of this university? Don't you know how much I'm paying here? My GOD this school is so expensive Lisa" she replied to me, I laughed at her reaction.

"Don't worry babe I'll return everything you paid for." I said while laughing as I hugged her.

"No don't return it, but I want new Bags from you." she said as she emphasized the word Bag with S and she begged like a puppy.

I'm a bit nervous about the Bag with the S, because knowing Jennie, the brand of bag she wants is no joke.

But I can't do anything about it  because if I don't give her what she wants I might sleep on the couch later, and I won't let that happen so I just smiled and nodded to her and she smiled in victory.

When we arrived in the classroom of our daughter the same time that the bell sounds and some of the kids run out of the classroom , I saw how Lj's smile formed when she saw Jennie and me together, she ran towards us and we welcomed  her with a hug.

"You're both okay ready?"  Our daughter looks so happy as she waits for the answer.

looked at Jennie and gave her a peck on the lips that made our daughter scream with joy.

" Yeayyyy!! am i going to sleep with you tonight dada? because i miss you so much." she asked me and I saw Jennie's eyes roll because of what Lj said She was obviously annoyed.

I smirk at her reaction, it looks like something good will happen tonight.

"baby I'll just stay with you until you  sleep because I miss mommy too and we are not  100% OK  yet, we still need to talk again later but I promise next time when mommy and dada really get along you'll sleep with us is that ok with You?" I whispered to her so that Jennie wouldn't hear, she smiled at me and nodded while Jennie was curious about what i whispered to our daughter.

Don't get me wrong I love my daughter so much that's why I don't want to disturb her sleep.
