Chapter 38

Jennie's Pov.

I woke up because my daughter kept on shaking my body, I opened my eyes and looked at the clock and it was only five o'clock in the morning.

"Mommy, mom wake up, wake up." she said while shaking my shoulder.

"Lisa Jane Manoban, it's only five o'clock in the morning let me sleep ." I said firmly and closed my eyes again  but i immediately opened it when i heard that she was crying.

I got up to look at her, she was hugging her bear while sobbing, I approached and hugged her.

"hey, baby what happened why are you crying?" I asked her and kissed her so many times to calm her down.

"mom where is dada? why isn't she here, did she leave me again? Am i going to wait for many years to see her again?" i was taken aback by what she said.

I remember she was asleep when Lisa, left last night.

I don't know how the two of them met yesterday, because Lj was already asleep when we went home, so I didn't have a chance to ask her.

I looked her in the eye and as I wiped away her tears. She's been traumatized.

"baby, dada didn't sleep here last night but it doesn't mean that she leaves you. She just went home because she doesn't have clothes here and I don't know how long she'll stay here in New Zealand sweetheart, but i'm going to meet and I'll talk to her later.  Don't worry I'll tell her to pick you up later after school, how does it sounds like? "   Her face lit up when she heard what i said.

She's really in love with her dada.

"really mommy. but why is it she doesn't sleep here with you? When I woke up, I went here right away because I thought she was here in your room." she asked innocently.

I don't know how to answer her, so I just smiled at her and kissed her on both cheeks before I kissed her on the lips.

"no more questions okay? Come here and hug mommy" I told her as I opened my arms to welcome her hug.

"Mom, you love Dada, right?" she asked as she hugged me.

"Why did you suddenly ask that?" I asked her.

"Because yesterday you didn't talk to her, then you didn't give her a kiss and a hug are you still mad at her because she ignored me before?" she said sadly.

" Honey, don't think about that. Of course I love your dada. There's a little bit of misunderstanding but we'll talk about it first." I explained to her and she nodded.

Now i'm nervous about what will happen after we talk. What if we can no longer fix our relationship?

What if she no longer loves me? 

Uarrhh!! i would really hate her if she breaks up with me.

"Wait, how did you and your dada meet?" I asked her.

"I was running because i was late for my next subject,after that I bumped into her, just like that mom." she shrugged.

After I got ready for work I went down to join my daughter for breakfast.

I went downstairs and I heard Lj was laughing, when I arrived at the dining room I was surprised to see Lisa feeding our daughter.

They looked at me as they felt my presence.

I sat next to Lj and kissed her on the head.

"good morning Jennie." Lisa greeted me nervously, I smiled at her.
