When you realise it

Over hearing the plan

He finds me instead and runs up to me. "Why didn't you text me back?" He asks.
I don't say anything I just grab his hand and lead him to the pile of 'smashed phone'. He looks at the phone. "Brittany!" He says. That's all he says then he walks off to find her. He walks away pretty fast. I pick up what's left of my phone and race after him.
(Meanwhile)
"Why'd you do it?" Taylor asks Brittany. "You know your just gonna have to buy her a new one."
"That doesn't worry me," Brittany replies. "It's just. She gets you all to herself."
I hear Taylor and Brittany talking as I am about to walk around the corner. So I stop and listen.
"Did you get the water supplies for my party?" Brittany asks.
Oh yeah, my dad works at 'the pool palace'. It's where you can get all pool supplies and stuff. So he brings home a lot of things for our pool.
Brittany has a pool too and she's been wanting the things that I have, for her party.
