He nods. "But Taylor gave it to me?" I say very confused now.
"I had it on my front seat. I stopped at a red light and Taylor pulled up in the lane next to me. He asked me what it was. So I told him. He told me that you guys were dating now and that YOU have never been happier without me. So I through it out the window and drove off. I didn't see what Taylor was doing, but he must've got out of his car and picked it up. Then pretending it was from him!" Louis looks down angry. "I still love it!" I look back at the receipt. My eyes wonder to the dollar sign. $859!!! My eyes widen and I look at him in shock.
He takes it off me and shoves it down his pocket.
"Nobody cares about prices anymore!" He says to me.
