Eddie Pov
Grant has started to become a bit distant from us, which has me worried. And even when he's with us, it seems as if he's hiding something. But I don't want to say anything about it. Because he could very well snap at me about it. But he has me worried. He's usually a lot like the glue of our group, always the one in the middle. He and Gaege share that roll. Because Juicy has chemistry that works with everyone, and Grant is like the father over all of us children. So it's very worrying when he doesn't act as his roll. I've decided that I just need to talk to him about it. The other boys have agreed with me that Grant is acting off. So, that is how I have ended up at Grant's house. The blinds are pulled and it looks like he hasn't left the house for days. I raise my hand to the door and hold it there, in a fist, contemplating knocking. I take a deep breath and then land 3 loud knocks on the door.
"Coming!" Grant's voice is rough, sounding like he just got up. He opens the door and his eyes widen when he sees me. "Oh. I, uh, thought you were a package."
"I mean you're not wrong," I joke, and his face blushes.
"Uh, come in," he says. I come inside and his house is cleaner than I expected it to be. "So, why are you here?"
"The boys and I are worried about you. You've been a bit MIA lately. I'm just the closest so I volunteered to check on you," I explain.
"Well, I'm fine. So you can go now if you want," Grant says.
"Are you sure? Because this is the most disheveled I've ever seen you," I say.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine," Grant says but looks away while he says it.
"Are you hiding something?" I ask.
"W-what? No! W-what makes you think that?" Grant asks.
"You're acting strange. Are you sure?" I ask again.
"Yes I, uh, am perfectly fine," Grant says.
"I'm gonna have to trust you on this one buddy," I say and clap him on the back as I head to the door.
"I'm gay," Grant blurts out. "And I have a crush on this guy."
