Hana slept for four weeks, such a long time that the crew was worried she was dead. Marco took care of her, making sure she wasn't dead.
It took two weeks before Whitebeard and Ace woke up and could move. When they did the two Phoenix birds disappeared in a puff of smoke. A lot of crying, laughing and hugs went around.
Marco had to explain to the two confused men what had happened, and that they were dead but aren't anymore thanks to one woman.
A party was held, with the Red-Haired Pirates also in attendance. It wasn't everyday that they saw someone come back to life, it never happened.
Hana woke up hungry. Like really hungry. Yawning, she sat up and stretched. She felt much better now, her chakra was full but her stomach was not.
Noting the new clothes, they were slightly too big but they worked. A pair of pants and a black tank top, not too bad.
Feeling too lazy to slip her boots back on, she opted to go barefoot. Her nose led her towards the gallery, the scent of food reaching her. Hana held her stomach as it rumbled again, she wanted food.
Yawning again, she opened the doors and headed inside. Plopping herself down at the nearest table, she piled her plate high with food and began eating.
Silence filled the room as all eyes were on the hungry lady. Food was shoved into her mouth quickly, man was she hungry. Hana felt like she hadn't eaten in weeks.
"YOU'RE AWAKE!?"
Hana jumped, startled from the sudden noise as everyone started talking at once. Feeling a bit overwhelmed, she swallowed her food and quickly piled her plate again before picking it up to run away.
She spent a total of a minute and a half in the gallery with them. Finding a quiet corner on the deck, she finished her meal in silence. With her stomach satisfied, she didn't know what to do with her plate now. She definitely did not want to go back there.
For now she'll just carry it with her. Hana returned to the main part of the deck to remove her healing mark. She had already sensed they weren't there anymore, no need for the circle.
Once completely gone, she clapped her hands satisfied. Spinning around she looked at the blonde and Ace. Grinning, she waved at them, "Glad to see you up and moving Ace!"
Hana found herself engulfed in his arms as he spun her around in a hug. "THANK YOU! YOU SAVED MY LIFE!" Placing her down, he gave her a smile. "What can I do to repay you?"
Hana tilted her head in confusion. Repay her? "Nothing. It's my job as a medic to treat the injured. Now does anything hurt? Anything feel off?" Her fingers poked around his neck where there was a large scar covering where his neck and shoulder met.
"I feel great! How'd you do it?"
Scratching her cheek she looked away. "Uhh it's kind of hard to explain really..." Hana really didn't want to go down that explanation, they'll think she's crazy.
"YOU!"
Letting out a screech, Hana hid behind Ace who just laughed at her. Peeking around his arm, she saw Whitebeard standing before her. Gulping, he was way more intimidating in person and not unconscious.
Hana, you've faced gods and demons! She can handle a pirate Captain. As she went to move around Ace, his gaze was still on her and very much intimidating. So she decided to continue hiding.
"Who are you?"
The man's tone lowered considerably and turned incredibly soft. Steeling her nerves, Hana inches away from Ace to stand next to him. "I'm Uzumaki Hana! I'm on the Straw Hats crew."
At the mention of that Ace spun her around by her shoulders. "You know Luffy? Is he okay? Where is he?"
"Uhh. Yes, I don't know. I don't know."
He released her shoulders with a sigh, Hana was still confused. Was he not able to find Luffy? Turning her attention back to Whitebeard, blue eyes narrowed in on his wound.
"Ah! Is there anything that hurts? Bothers you? Are you uncomfortable?" Her medic kicked in without her consent. Curses Tsunade for teaching her so well.
Whitebeard just laughed and smiled. "You saved my life and that of my son. Thank you Uzumaki Hana. I am in your debt."
Waving her hands around in front of her, Hana cried. "No, no! You don't owe me!" A pained look crossed her face. "I'm a medic. It's my job to treat the injured and...and I've lost people. I promised to never lose anyone else in war." The ninja she couldn't save because she wasn't strong enough. "I am just happy you're both okay!"
Glancing around at the group, Hana shuffled her feet awkwardly. "So umm...until I find Luffy and my crew. May I stick around with you?" Ace had already clapped her on the shoulder before Whitebeard could say anything. But the hearty Captain agreed much to her relief.
"Now! You must tell me how you did it."
