"okay i'm ready, holy shit, i'm graduating." minseo gasped. jaehyun, standing next to her admiring her in her cap and gown, chuckled at her nervousness. he was in her shoes only last year and knew the nerves would be gone soon.

the two of them left together in jaehyuns car and made their way to minseos high school, her parents in a separate car following. once they arrived jaehyun gave her a peck on the lips before she head inside to meet her fellow classmates.

walking into the gym, she immediately spotted eunha and once she noticed her back they ran to each other with huge grins, hugging each other tightly. after that, she hugged mark and haechan together. it was a little emotional but they all managed to keep their cool.

"hi guys!" the four of them heard, to which they all turned to see their friends jeno, jaemin, and renjun. minseo was not very close with them, only really speaking during their classes together and occasionally sliding up on each others snap stories, but that was it. either way, she was so happy to be crossing the stage with them.

the three of them each gave bro hugs to haechan and mark and then each gave a hug to eunha and minseo, exclaiming that they were proud of all of them. all of them chatted amongst themselves, and at one point minseo turned around for a second just to take a look at everyone, and had made eye contact with haerin.

furrowing her eyebrows, minseo waited for her to look away but she never did so minseo decided it would be smart to flip her off.

"real mature," haerin mouthed. minseo just shrugged sarcastically with a slick grin on her face and turned back around.

doyoung had finally arrived and made his way to the group, "look at us, graduating." he said, catching minseos attention.

she smiled at him, admiring how happy he looked to be with all of his friends in the moment. doyoung was truly a great guy and even though they didn't end up together, they were both happy to have been able to create a bond the last school year and would be rooting for each other no matter what.

a teacher announced it was time to get in their spots since families would begin filling in the seats. minseos nerves started to rise again. they all did as told and soon enough, the place was completely filled, people were even standing because their wasn't enough room.

the principals started doing their speeches, and a few teachers as well. that lasted about an hour and then it was finally time to allow students to cross with their diplomas. of course minseo had to be first out of the friend group, so once her turn was approaching, she began preparing herself even though it would only take 10 seconds to cross the stage.

"choi minseo," the principal announced. just like the other students before her, everyone applauded her and she could hear johnny cheering even over the claps. grinning in slight embarrassment, she shook the hand of her principal and took her diploma. she could feel her cheeks heat up at the attention so she quickly hurried back to her seat. she sighed in relief, finding it hard to believe she finally graduated.
