What if in the room of requirement there lay hidden a locket. Long lost and long forgotten. A lovely rectangular cut slab of jade inlaid in silver, no bigger than the last length of ones thumb. And of course who to stumble upon such a fine jewelry than a young Slytherin boy. One just as lost as the locket itself.
The locket being a horcrux. The soul of a student. A student from long before Tom Riddle. Perhaps before Albus Dumbledore were a professor at Hogwarts. A soul that worms her way into the young Malfoy's dreams. He'd stolen her soul from its resting place and soon she'd steal his heart.
