Never Let You Go

Chapter Six

Wow, can't really believe this is chapter 6 already! So thanks for those who have supported me throughout those 5 chapters before ;)

So chapter 6, here we go~

Chapter Six

(Cadan's POV)

I knew that's what would happen - dead silence, but I couldn't help it. Noticing that Natsume was pouting slightly and she was becoming quite worried, I knew I had to say something.

So I said "You will see..." But it seemed that it had worsen my mate's mood. And that's when she started to tap her feet onto the car impatiently.

That's when I knew my mate was reaching her limits, her true self revealing.

"Well, if you won't say anything about that, Cadan, then I'm sure you will need to leave immediately and go back to your precious pack!" She snapped, worry and authority filled her voice.

I chuckled slightly and said slowly, "Okay..." I started but trailed off when she let out a startled yelp.

"Really?!" She gasped. "What?" I asked, acting dumb. I had a hard time of not letting the edges of my mouth went up.

"Stop it!" Natsume groaned. I then used my other hand then began to trace circles on her skins, sending electric sparks throughout both our whole body.

We finally went back to Natsume's house after a few more minutes. Natsume stomped out of the house and slamped her bedroom door before I could go in.

She also frowned at me.

I just laughed at these, my, my! My mate sure looked cute when she was angry! Then I entered the bedroom door.

(Natsume's POV)

I had never been so angry about something or someone like this... Guess it's that mate stuff?

I was looking at outside when I heard the door opened. Instantly, my mate's breath-taking scent filled my nostrils, making it flare.

Cadan wrapped his arms around my waise, pressing his face flat onto the crook of my neck. "Hey, babe, is the princess angry?" he murmured in a teasing tone.

I snorted at that but somehow it seemed like I sort of forgave him, to much of my displease.

"So, you want to tell me the 'thing'...?" I trailed off, slightly staring at him. I bit my lip gently, not knowing what Cadan wanted to talk about.

Cadan chuckled as soon as I asked him the question, I raised an eyebrow. Cadan lazily made his way towards the bed, sitting down.

He patted the space beside him on the bed. I went to join him quickly, looking expectantly at him.

"I am thinking of going back to my pack..." he started off and my face was filled with shock. "A-and you are going to d-dumb me here?!" I stammerd, eyes filled with horror.

"No, no, no! Of course not! I was just about to ask you to come with me, Nat. To become the Luna of our birth pack, you have the right to be the Luna..." He trailed off.

This time I didn't raise my eyebrows, because I knew exactly what he wanted to say so I said, "But you are not sure that Daniel, James and my foster parents will let me go..."

"Yes, I don't want to fight in a battle that is not quite neccessary. So I think I am going to tell James about it with you." Cadan stated out.

Silence then filled the air, both of us were in deep thoughts. I eyed Cadan for a few times, admiring his handsome face and perfect jawline.

"Stop it..." Cadan muttered and I chuckled. I yawned, without noticing how tired I was. Cadan then quickly cupped my face and said, "Go to sleep, babe. Let me..." He said seducingly.

Cadan then carried me in a bridal form, and he laid my down gently onto the bed. "Good night, love." He murmured and kissed my forehead. With that, I drifted off and everything went black.

•The Next Day•

(Cadan's POV)

I woke up in the next morning, turning, I saw that Natsume was still sleeping.

Looking at her peaceful face, I finally felt content. She was having nightmares throughout the night. It must be a hard night yesterday night.

I brushed her jawline with my thumb gently. Carefully not to wake her, I get off the bed, closing the door behind me gently.

I went downstairs to make breakfast. I saw some pancakes and decided to make some.

I was flipping a pancake when I suddenly Natsume wailed. I immediately closed the gas fire and rushed up to the room.

"Where the hell did you go?!" She yelled into my ears, panicking.

I quickly wrapped my arms around her, embracing her. "Shh... I am here now, calm down... I am not leaving you..."

She then sniffled under me, buried her face into my chest, while I drew circles on her back.

"I thought you left me..." She said softly, voice muffled. "Of course not, babe! I won't do that..."

She suddenly stiffened, " I smell fire, you okay?! Where did u go?!" She demanded.

"Calm down, babe. I just went downstairs and fry pancakes..." I reassured her. I felt her relaxed and leaned on me for support.

After about half an hour, her stomach growled and I chuckled. "Fancy going down and eat some breakfast?" I asked, looking at her red face. She just nodded.

I quickly pecked her cheeks and she moaned. "Come on, nightmares are not true, stop thinking 'bout it, okay?" I asked when I read her mind, it was full of recaps.

"H-how did you know?" She asked. I shrugged, "You have them all nights and are thinking about them just now." She just stared at me blankly and worry began to stir up in me.

"Come on, let's go down and have some breakfast." I suggested. She just nodded and started to go down.

I watched her from behind, worry ate me to no end. Something was wrong and I was going to find out soon.

Woohoo~ end of chapter 6! Sorry to keep you waiting... My grades are out and my parents do not allow me to touch the electrical appliances much :PP
