(Natsume's POV)

I saw Cadan took a deep breath and I waited. Though my wolf was pacing inside of me.

She sensed something grave, I wondered what it was?

"So, Nat, you remember at that time, our pack was attacked?" Cadan asked in a small voice.

Instantly, I knew where this was going. Of course I remembered the attack!

My parents were killed in that battle, and I was snatched away from the pack.

Then James saved me and I joined his pack. But it was still an unknown that which pack attacked us.

"Wait, so you are saying you know which pack attacked us?" I asked Cadan.

Cadan nodded gravely, "It's James' pack." He answered.

Then everything clicked in. "So it was actually James that captured me, that's why I became an omega. Not because of my alpha genes, it was just an excuse!" I exclaimed.

"But, why Daniel's here?" I asked, confused.

"He is the rogue that I was talking about earlier. And he is the one who tells me this." Cadan explained.

"Why betray his father? For revenge? Of what?" I asked, still not getting about it.

"He wants revenge because his father kicked him out of the pack." Cadan replied.

He then furrowed his eyebrows. "But should we trust him?" He asked, lost in thoughts.

I was about to reply when I felt something inside me told me we should trust him.

My gut? Really? I don't think so. Then I felt some facts are somehow missing.

Leaving Cadan and whether-should-we-trust-Daniel-or-not issue, I went to the bathroom and tried to figure out what's wrong.

I heard Cadan called me, asking me where I was going.

"Pee." I simply lied, I really want to get this thing solved.

I was rummaging through the things in the toilet when I found the tamptons.

Then it clicked, I was a week late. I was still doubting about the date when I suddenly had the urge to throw up.

"What the hell?" Cadan must have sensed something's going wrong because he rushed to my side.

"I was a week late......" I managed to say before wanting to throw up again.

I looked up and saw Cadan gave me a smile. "You sure?" He asked, his smile getting bigger.

I nodded and before facing the tab again.

Cadan wrapped his arms around my waist and murmured into my hair.

"That's great, babe." I looked up again and grinned back to him.

"Yes, it is."

"But one thing still bothers me......" I trailed off.

"Yeah?" Cadan asked.

"Something keeps telling me we should trust Daniel. Yet I'm sure it isn't a gut feeling.

Cadan shrugged and said, "Maybe deep in your heart you know you can trust Daniel."

"I had a little fight with him just now, I can actually sensed his sincerity when he told me." He added.

I nodded, "Then, it's settled. Now what about -"
