Y/n's pov
I was new aboard the Enterprise, I stared in awe at how big the ship was.
I went to the bridge and I saw the Captain sitting in his chair.
I walked up to him and I smiled.
He smiled back "I'm assuming you're new here?"
"Yes, sir, I am new aboard your ship." I said, almost bowing.
He chuckled.
"Can I have your name please?"
"Y/n."
He looked at me and his face changed slightly.
"You're... Vulcan, aren't you?" He asked quietly.
I nodded.
"I've never seen a Vulcan smile." He said and I giggled.
"Or giggle." He said, obviously amused by me.
I nodded my head "I'm not quite like a Vulcan, Captain."
"I'll say."
Someone walked up to us.
"Bones, this is y/n, y/n this is Doctor Leonard McCoy, but I call him Bones."
"Nice to meet you y/n." He said.
I nodded softly "A pleasure, Doctor McCoy."
He gave me a look.
"What?" I asked at the look he's giving me.
"You sound like a Vulcan."
I smiled "A coincidence."
He looked confused.
"Coincidence?" He asked.
"I am Vulcan, Doctor." I tucked my hair behind my pointy ear.
"But you smile, giggle, and laugh."
I smiled "I know, but I am Vulcan."
"You're more human than Spock."
Spock?!
I nodded softly.
"Did you say Sp-Spock?" I asked.
He nodded "Yes I said Spock, why?"
Spock walked in front of me.
I held up the Vulcan salute.
And he did the same.
